We are seeking a talented Data and Integrations Software Engineer to join our team and build robust, reliable, and scalable integration solutions that allow Nue to seamlessly integrate with various ERP and payment systems. 
Job Description
As a Software Engineer at Nue.io, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions that connect our platform with ERP systems like NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, and various other systems like Stripe. You will leverage Nue APIs, Webhooks, and iPaaS platforms such as Tray.io and Salesforce Flows to build seamless integrations that support Order-to-Cash functionalities. Your attention to detail, strong technical skills, and experience with enterprise systems will be essential in creating scalable and efficient integration solutions.<ul>
</ul>Key Responsibilities 
<ul>
<li>
Design and develop scalable backend integration services in Java (Spring Boot, REST, GraphQL) that connect Nue&rsquo;s platform with ERP, tax and payment systems. 
</li>
<li>Build and extend internal APIs, data pipelines, and webhook frameworks using Nue APIs, Webhooks, and iPaaS platforms like Tray.io and Salesforce Flows
 
</li><li>Build seamless integrations with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics) and Nue to support Order-to-Cash processes. 
</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and customer success, to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. 
</li>
<li>Create and maintain detailed workflow diagrams and technical documentation for integration designs. 
</li>
<li>Ensure that integrations are thoroughly tested, monitored, and maintained for reliability and performance. 
</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner. 
</li>
<li>Continuously improve integration processes and recommend best practices to optimize performance and scalability. 
</li>
<li>Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that Nue&rsquo;s integration solutions remain cutting-edge.</li> 
</ul>
Required Skills and Experience 
<ul>
<li>
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields.
 
</li><li>2+ years experience with Java for integration development. 
</li>
<li>2+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong understanding of Order-to-Cash functionalities. 
</li>
<li>2+ years of Experience with iPaaS platforms like Tray.io or similar tools. 
</li>
<li>2+ in working with APIs, Webhooks, and integration frameworks. 
</li>
<li>2+ years experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, and CRM systems. 
</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to create comprehensive design and workflow diagrams. 
</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues. 
</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.</li> 
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>
Experience with microservices, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or event-driven architectures. 
</li>
<li>Experience with enterprise systems and large-scale integration projects. 
</li>
<li>Familiarity with additional iPaaS platforms and workflow automation tools. 
</li>
<li>Experience with Salesforce Flows for integration with Salesforce CRM. 
</li>
<li>A solid understanding of SaaS environments and cloud-based architectures.</li> 
</ul>

Compensation
The compensation band for this role is $143,000&ndash;$155,000 USD annually for candidates based in the United States and $128,000-$148,000 CAD annually for candidates based in Canada. Final compensation will depend on skills, experience, and internal pay equity. Slight variation by location reflects market conditions.</div>
