NFC expects this position to be held by a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual who excels in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment that values top-quality work and positive contributions to the workplace.Hybrid &ndash; work in NFC&rsquo;s Chatham Office a minimum of two (2) days in-office days per week, during onboarding and training there will be a three (3) day in-office per week requirement. Must be flexible and willing to work in person for additional days as needed for coverage and/or other business needs.Essential Functions:Applicant must have a minimum of at least 2 years of substantive employment litigation experience including experience managing cases. Experience defending or prosecuting matters involving restrictive covenant agreements helpful but not required. Responsibilities are focused on employment litigation matters for private sector corporate clients in New Jersey and New York, specifically:<ul><li>Drafting all required pleadings</li><li>Assisting with all phases of discovery (i.e. preparing and responding to written discovery, document productions, preparation for, taking and defending depositions, preparation and participating in mediations, etc.)</li><li>Developing, managing and executing E-discovery protocol.</li><li>Conducting legal and factual research</li><li>Preparing and responding to dispositive and non-dispositive motions</li><li>Attendance at court conferences and settlement conferences</li><li>Temporary Restraining Order and Preliminary Injunction hearing preparation and attendance</li><li>Trial and arbitration preparation and attendance</li><li>Proactive case management, including communication with NFC team and clients</li></ul>Skills Required:<ul><li>Must be admitted to the NJ Bar; NY, PA and/or CT bar admission a plus</li><li>Must have a strong working knowledge of ESI</li><li>Exceptional legal writing and communication skills</li><li>Excellent research skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>The ability to work collaboratively and positively in a dynamic team environment</li><li>The ability to identify and resolve problems quickly</li><li>The ability to manage multiple clients and matters, often on a time sensitive basis</li></ul>Salary Range: (based on full-time): 150k (2 years&rsquo; experience) &ndash; 170k (6 years&rsquo; experience)The Firm is providing this good-faith salary range to comply with applicable law.
