Schedule: Full-Time 
Pay Rate: $24&ndash;$26 per hour

Position Overview</h3>

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to join our Nursing Home &amp; Rehabilitation Center in West Palm Beach, FL. This role is essential to the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring appropriate staffing coverage, accurate recordkeeping, and compliance with facility policies and regulations. 

<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Maintain an up-to-date directory of resident care staff contact information
</li>
<li>Provide the Business Office with current department manager contact details
</li>
<li>Track and report daily tardiness and absenteeism to the Director of Nursing (DON)
</li>
<li>Collaborate with HR and the DON to schedule modified-duty employees in accordance with policy
</li>
<li>Assist staff with leave requests, timecards, and related documentation
</li>
<li>Prepare and coordinate monthly nursing schedules based on facility needs and staff availability
</li>
<li>Post schedules and communicate changes promptly to the DON and nursing team
</li>
<li>Support nursing supervisors with daily staffing needs and respond to employee inquiries
</li>
<li>Issue ID badges, timecards, and initial schedules to new hires prior to orientation
</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and current records of nursing licenses and certifications
</li>
<li>Cover the Unit Secretary role as needed during absences
</li>
<li>Prepare staffing reports and provide recommendations to the DON
</li>
<li>Address staffing- and scheduling-related grievances and concerns
</li>
<li>Ensure full compliance with HIPAA and facility standards</li></ul> 

<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Staffing Coordinator in a nursing facility
</li>
<li>Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment</li></ul>
