What You'll Do:</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Perform general office work, including filing.</li><li>
Make copies of inventory receivers, bills of lading, and other documents.</li><li>
Prepare product receivers for incoming inventory.</li><li>
Perform month end procedures as designated by Division Office.</li><li>
Answer the phone in a polite and courteous manner.</li><li>
Order supplies and forms as necessary.</li><li>
Process invoices correctly (ARS system, separating, filing, etc.).</li><li>
Enter customer checks daily.</li><li>
Enter &amp; code vendor invoices into Accounts Payable.</li><li>
Assist in new employee orientation and paperwork.</li><li>
Precision Ag Specialist responsibilities including data management, implementing precision farm strategies, training and advising farmers</li><li>

What You'll Do:</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Provide expert legal guidance to internal Nutrien stakeholders with accountability within the Safety Health &amp; Environmental function, encompassing all aspects of compliance with the law and best practices applicable to environmental and health and safety matters.</li><li>
Advise on environmental, safety and security requirements, permitting and compliance and incident response and privileged investigations, and provide counsel on other regulatory, safety, and environmental matters as needed.</li><li>
Initiate and manage privileged investigations as necessary.</li><li>
Provide input on the decisions of whether to retain external counsel and assist in the oversight of same when retained.</li><li>
Continuously monitor, identify and communicate regulatory compliance requirements that have the potential to impact Nutrien Globally.</li><li>
Synthesize and provide guidance to senior leadership and other internal Nutrien stakeholders interpreting regulatory compliance standards and recommended paths forward that align with Nutrien&rsquo;s strategic priorities.</li><li>
Clearly identify risks and regulatory strategies to mitigate risks across subject matters in all jurisdictions in which the company operates or sells to.</li><li>
Participate in various associations and working groups related to regulatory, safety and environmental matters.</li><li>
Provide legal guidance on the integration of acquired businesses with respect to environmental and safety matters, ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements and Nutrien&rsquo;s policies.</li><li>
Comply with all Company standards, policies and procedures pertaining to appropriate conduct for employees, including the Statement of Core Values and Code of Business Conduct; the Respect in the Workplace Policy; Safety, Health and Environment Policies; and any other applicable standards, policies and procedures as implemented and/or revised by the Company or by legislation.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What You'll Bring:</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Must be a licensed Attorney in the U.S.</li><li>
At least 4-7 years in a business environment as in-house counsel or comparable law firm experience.</li><li>
Highly developed skills and significant experience with environmental and safety compliance, permitting and incident response, and privileged investigations.</li><li>
Experience working directly with business executives and operations.</li><li>
Ability to be strategic, practical, assertive, adaptable, creative and flexible.</li><li>
Ability to analyze and extrapolate information and have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.</li><li>
Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.</li><li>
Ability to identify risks and propose alternative approaches to mitigate.</li><li>
Ability to handle a large volume and variety of legal projects simultaneously.</li><li>
Proven ability to manage external counsel.</li><li>
Excellent decision-making and problem solving skills.</li><li>
Ability to perform independently and to collaborate in a team environment.</li><li>
Skills and experience with agricultural crop inputs regulation encompassing the mining, manufacture, transportation and sales and application of fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides.</li><li>
Skills and experience with environmental and safety compliance and permitting and incident response and privileged investigations.</li><li>
Prior experience in project management.</li><li>
Excellent analytical research and documentation writing skills as demonstrated by past draft examples.</li></ul></div></div></div><p></p><p><b><br>
Compensation &amp; Benefits:</b></p><p>
The salary range for this role is between $150,000 $210,000. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.</p><p></p><p><br>
We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week. In addition, we have a retirement program that encourages our employees to save for the longer term, with generous matching employer contributions. In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
