Job Title: HR Manager (NON IT Background)Location: [Mohali] Industry: Nutraceutical Manufacturing Working Days: 6 Days a Week (Monday to Saturday) Working Hours: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PMPosition Overview:We are seeking a qualified and experienced HR Manager with an MBA in Human Resources to oversee all aspects of human resources and administrative functions at our nutraceutical manufacturing plant. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing HR strategies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, handling employee relations, enforcing HR policies, and managing administrative tasks to streamline operations within the facility. This position requires excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Candidate must be ready to visit labor court and police stations in extreme cases must know industrial laws and preferably for manufacturing industriesKey Responsibilities:HR Functions:<ul><li>Recruitment &amp; Staffing: Manage recruitment processes including job postings, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates for various plant positions.</li><li>Employee Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for all employee-related issues, resolving conflicts, addressing grievances, and ensuring a positive work environment.</li><li>Onboarding &amp; Training: Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including orientation, job training, and ensuring smooth integration into the team.</li><li>Performance Management: Support managers in the implementation of performance appraisal systems, setting goals, and conducting performance reviews.</li><li>Compliance &amp; Legal: Ensure all HR practices comply with local labor laws and industry regulations, including workplace safety and employee welfare standards.</li><li>Compensation &amp; Benefits: Oversee payroll processing, employee benefits administration, and manage compensation strategies in alignment with industry standards.</li><li>HR Policies: Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures that align with company objectives, legal requirements, and best practices. Ensure all employees are familiar with and adhere to these policies.</li><li>NDA Agreements: Ensure that all employees sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) upon hire and regularly review and update these agreements to maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary information, formulas, and processes specific to the nutraceutical industry.</li></ul>Administrative Duties:<ul><li>Documentation &amp; Recordkeeping: Maintain up-to-date employee records, contracts, HR documents, and signed NDA agreements in both electronic and paper formats.</li><li>Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on HR metrics such as turnover rates, absenteeism, employee satisfaction, etc.</li><li>Inventory Management: Oversee office supplies and other administrative resources to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities.</li><li>Communication: Act as a liaison between upper management and staff, communicating policy changes and ensuring that all employees are informed about company updates.</li></ul>General Responsibilities:<ul><li>Workforce Planning: Analyze staffing needs and make recommendations for improvements or adjustments to optimize workforce productivity.</li><li>Health &amp; Safety: Promote a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and conducting regular safety audits.</li><li>Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to foster collaboration and ensure HR policies support company goals.</li><li>Other Duties: Perform any other related administrative duties as required by management to ensure smooth operations.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>MBA in Human Resources or related field.</li><li>Proven experience as an HR Manager, ideally in a manufacturing or nutraceutical setting.</li><li>Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, employee relations, and confidentiality agreements.</li><li>Experience in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and NDAs.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of Employee State Insurance (ESI) and Employees' Provident Fund (EPF), and experience in managing statutory compliances related to these schemes.</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.</li><li>Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Leadership and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proficient in Google Workplace (formerly G Suite), ERP systems, or similar HR software platforms.</li><li>Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.</li><li>Knowledge of safety and health regulations in manufacturing environments.</li><li>Experience in managing a team and working with cross-functional teams.</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.</li><li>Ability to use a computer and telephone.</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Master's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Payroll: 3 years (Preferred)</li><li>HR: 3 years (Required)</li><li>adminis: 3 years (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Professional in Human Resources&reg; (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
