We're on the hunt for a highly skilled, certified Petroleum Equipment Service Technician to join our growing team in Twin Falls, ID. If you&rsquo;re driven, safety-focused, and ready to grow with a company that values your experience, this is your moment.
The pay range starts at $18-$28/hr depending on experience and includes benefits. The pay is on the higher end of the range with certifications, we are willing to train and there is a path for growth.
Your Mission:
<ul><li>Install, maintain, and repair fuel dispensers, underground and aboveground storage tanks, piping systems, and related petroleum equipment.
</li><li>Troubleshoot and service electrical and mechanical components of fuel systems, including sensors, leak detection, and monitoring systems.
</li><li>Calibrate and test fuel dispensing systems and POS interfaces to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
</li><li>Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on fueling systems and report deficiencies.
</li><li>Respond to emergency service calls and equipment failures to minimize downtime at customer sites.
</li><li>Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations, including UST/AST requirements.
</li><li>Maintain detailed service records, test results, inspection logs, and maintenance reports.
</li><li>Interface professionally with customers, vendors, inspectors, and site personnel.
</li><li>Adhere to and promote all company safety policies, including lockout/tagout, confined space, and hazardous material handling.
</li><li>Stay current with industry standards, manufacturer training, and certifications.
</li></ul>What You Bring to the Table:
<ul><li>Hands-on experience with fueling systems, including dispensers (Gilbarco, Wayne), submersible pumps, piping, and tank systems.
</li><li>Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment, including circuit diagnostics and component replacement.
</li><li>Background in servicing or installing POS systems, tank monitors (e.g., Veeder-Root), and interstitial monitoring systems.
</li><li>Experience working with tools, test equipment, and diagnostic software used in fuel system servicing.
</li><li>Prior work in field service environments, responding to on-site issues with minimal supervision.
</li><li>Certifications or training such as Gilbarco Passport, Gilbarco Dispenser, Gasboy, FuelMaster, Verifone, Wayne Dispenser, ICC Service Tech Certifications, UST/AST operator certifications, or HAZWOPER.
</li><li>Proven ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and installation drawings.
</li><li>History of safe work practices, including work in hazardous locations and spill response.
</li><li>Strong customer service skills, punctuality, and ability to work independently or as part of a service crew.
</li></ul>Before You Leap:
This is a safety-sensitive position and requires the following:
<ul><li>Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, including marijuana testing.
</li><li>Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, which includes lifting up to 75 lbs, twisting, kneeling, pulling, and squatting.
</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record (past 5 years).
</li><li>Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required (travel expenses covered).
</li></ul>Important Note: Although marijuana use may be legal in some states, federal guidelines and company policy require testing for all safety-sensitive positions per DOT standards.
