 Role Summary
 
 
 
 The Pre-Sales Engineer acts as the bridge between the commercial and technical teams, providing deep product understanding, translating client problems into technical solutions, and ensuring opportunities are fully qualified before technical or engineering resources are deployed.
 
 
 This role blends business acumen with technical depth. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team to scope solutions, build proposals, deliver demos, and ensure every deal is both technically sound and commercially viable. They act as the technical face of nybl during the sales cycle - driving clarity, feasibility, and confidence for all stakeholders.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 Client Engagement &amp; Technical Discovery
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Engage with prospective customers to understand their business needs, technical environments, and desired outcomes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Qualify early opportunities alongside the Sales team by assessing technical fit, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Solution Design &amp; Technical Leadership
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Translate customer requirements into technical and functional specifications aligned with nybl&rsquo;s product suite.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead product demos, proofs-of-concept, and technical presentations without requiring engineering support during early sales stages.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop high-level solution designs, estimates (resources, effort, timelines), and associated implementation costs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with Engineering teams to validate technical requirements for RFIs, proposals, and solution designs.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Proposal, Tender &amp; Documentation Ownership
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Take full ownership of responding to PQQs, RFPs, RFIs, and tenders with clear, technically accurate submissions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support Sales in the development of commercial proposals (as per nybl&rsquo;s sales playbook and approval workflows).
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and present tailored solution proposals, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and client KPIs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and maintain a repository of reusable pre-sales materials (compliance matrices, architectures, diagrams, FAQs, templates) to improve speed and consistency.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Cross-Functional Collaboration
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Coordinate with the PMO to understand delivery resource availability and set realistic timeline expectations with clients.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as the primary technical contact throughout the pre-sales cycle, ensuring smooth handover to delivery after deal closure.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide product and market feedback to Engineering and Product teams to influence roadmap direction.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Product, Market &amp; Technical Expertise
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Maintain deep understanding of nybl&rsquo;s AI/ML, analytics, automation, and industrial solutions and how they integrate into client architectures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct competitor and market analysis to position nybl&rsquo;s offerings effectively.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar technical discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 5+ years&rsquo; experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting roles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of AI/ML, analytics, or industrial automation (experience in oil &amp; gas, utilities, manufacturing, or enterprise AI is preferred).
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in creating solution architectures, technical documentation, and proposals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to operate independently across multiple opportunities and regions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong commercial awareness; comfortable discussing ROI, pricing structures, and general commercial models.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred / Desirable Skills &amp; Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience in AI SaaS, deep-tech, or industrial analytics companies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Exposure to SCADA, IoT, or predictive analytics systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Arabic language skills are an advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of enterprise sales cycles and procurement processes.
 </li>
