Job Description &ndash; Assistant Manager (Accounts &amp; Finance) for all LocationsDepartment: Accounts &amp; Finance Industry: Textile / Garments / Manufacturing Location: Thane Mumbai- HO / Bhiwandi Mumbai - Factory / Surat - Warehouse Reporting To: Manager &ndash; Finance &amp; AccountsRole SummaryThe Assistant Manager &ndash; Accounts &amp; Finance will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation compliance, and supporting month-end closing activities. The role requires strong experience in the textile/garment manufacturing industry, including costing, inventory, vendor payments, and statutory compliance.Key Responsibilities1. Accounting &amp; Financial Management<ul><li>Manage daily accounting operations&mdash;AP, AR, general ledger, banking, and reconciliation.</li><li>Oversee vendor payments, credit control, and customer outstanding follow-ups.</li><li>Monitor inventory accounting, fabric/trim consumption, WIP, and finished goods valuation.</li></ul>2. Textile Industry&ndash;Specific Responsibilities<ul><li>Handle garment/textile costing: fabric cost, trims, labour, overheads, and per-piece costing.</li><li>Coordinate with production, store, and merchandising teams for consumption data &amp; costing accuracy.</li><li>Monitor job work charges, cut-and-pack costs, and subcontracting payments.</li><li>Validate purchase orders, GRN, and production slips to ensure accurate accounting.</li></ul>3. Financial Reporting<ul><li>Prepare monthly P&amp;L, balance sheet schedules, MIS reports, and management dashboards.</li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.</li><li>Track cash flow, fund flow, and working capital requirements.</li></ul>4. GST, TDS &amp; Statutory Compliance<ul><li>Responsible for timely filing of GST returns, TDS, PF/ESIC, PT, and other statutory payments.</li><li>Ensure compliance with statutory audit, internal audit, and tax audit requirements.</li><li>Assist in preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor queries.</li></ul>5. Banking &amp; Treasury<ul><li>Manage bank reconciliation and coordinate for LC, BG, OD, CC limits.</li><li>Handle payments, receipts, vendor settlements, and advance adjustments.</li></ul>6. Process &amp; Control Management<ul><li>Implement internal controls for purchase, payments, inventory, and job work processes.</li><li>Improve accuracy, reduce errors, and streamline finance processes.</li></ul>7. Team Coordination<ul><li>Guide junior accountants on entries, reconciliations, and compliance tasks.</li><li>Work closely with production, purchase, store, merchandising, and HR teams.</li></ul>Required Skills<ul><li>Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, and compliance.</li><li>Hands-on experience in garment/textile costing &amp; inventory processes.</li><li>Proficiency in Tally ERP / ERP systems, advanced Excel.</li><li>Strong analytical and reconciliation abilities.</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and follow-up skills.</li></ul>Qualification &amp; Experience<ul><li>B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter (preferred).</li><li>4&ndash;8 years of experience in Accounts &amp; Finance within the textile/garments manufacturing industry.</li><li>Experience in cost accounting and factory finance operations is highly preferred.</li></ul>CTC Range (Optional)&#8377;4.5 LPA &ndash; &#8377;9 LPA based on experience &amp; expertise.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;500,000.00 - &#8377;900,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
