As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will partner with the leadership team of o9 to drive company performance. This includes the monthly P&amp;L reporting, variance analysis, creation, and delivery of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Quarterly forecast. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strong analytical capabilities, communication skills, superior attention to detail, and a curiosity-driven mindset. This is a high visibility role with a significant impact in providing critical input to the overall strategic direction and growth of the company. For the right candidate, it is a platform for rapid career development and personal growth. This role is well suited for a candidate with an MBA, business finance, FP&amp;A, consulting or investment banking preferably in a SAAS company.</div><div>
The role</div><div>
We&rsquo;re seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be a core partner to leadership in driving performance and P&amp;L excellence. Your primary activities will be Labor, Non- labor, close, variance analysis, forecasts/quarterly outlooks, and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) . This high-visibility role blends analytical depth, crisp communication, and stakeholder partnership.</div><div></div><div>
What you&rsquo;ll do for us</div><ul><li><div>
Lead FP&amp;A activities including monthly/ quarterly close, analysis and reporting for the respective function/ business.</div></li><li><div>
Work with Accounting during close process to ensure accurate entries and suggest reclasses, accruals as needed</div></li><li><div>
Identify and research variances to forecast, budget and prior year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement</div></li><li><div>
Prepare and present P&amp;L monthly reporting package with variance explanations, headcount analysis, expense detail by vendor</div></li><li><div>
Develop quarterly forecasts and bottoms-up budget, working with the Finance Manager and portfolio leaders</div></li><li><div>
Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights during forecast/budget process</div></li><li><div>
Business partner with the GMs/ Functional leaders to drive analysis and tools for improved decision making</div></li><li><div>
Develop and monitor core KPIs to track progression towards achieving operating plan and to drive both top and bottom-line performance</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
What you&rsquo;ll have</div><ul><li><div>
Experience: 6-7+ years of experience</div></li><li><div>
Education: MBA or CA with 6-7+ years of FP&amp;A experience preferred</div></li><li><div>
Skills:</div><ul><li><div>
Strong knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles: GAAP/ IFRS</div></li><li><div>
Experience working with reporting and budgeting tools, NetSuite financial systems preferred</div></li><li><div>
Experience developing analysis, reporting metrics and adept with AOP, quarterly forecasting, month end close/ reporting</div></li><li><div>
Superior attention to detail, ability to successfully manage multiple, competing priorities while maintaining view of big picture goals and initiatives</div></li><li><div>
Experience within SaaS and/or Supply Chain industries preferred but not required</div></li><li><div>
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to easily interface with various levels of management</div></li><li><div>
Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills (or Google Workspace equivalent)</div></li></ul></li></ul><div>
Characteristics: Passion for design, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.</div><div>
