<div>Payroll Project Compliance Coordinator

The Payroll Project Compliance Coordinator role is focused on acting as an operational extension of the payroll team and supporting project labor compliance by ensuring employee time reporting, job classifications, and cost coding are complete, accurate, and aligned with prevailing wage and union requirements. Facilitate timely certified payroll reporting, maintain subcontractor compliance, and support audit readiness while ensuring adherence to project and regulatory deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Collect, validate, and organize weekly employee time entries while ensuring accurate job coding, labor classifications, and cost allocations.</li>
<li>Coordinate with payroll specialist, field, and project teams to resolve missing, inaccurate or incomplete timekeeping data.</li>
<li>Review certified payroll reports for accuracy and completeness prior to submission.</li>
<li>Assist with certified payroll submissions through client compliance platforms (LCP tracker, Elation).</li>
<li>Track certified payroll reporting deadlines and monitor submission status across multiple projects.</li>
<li>Support prevailing wage, union, and labor compliance requirements by maintaining accurate employee records.</li>
<li>Monitor subcontractor certified payroll submissions and follow up on missing reports, compliance deficiencies, and outstanding documentation.</li>
<li>Maintain organized payroll submissions and ensure required documentation is received on time.</li>
<li>Prepare compliance tracking reports and provide updates to project management and payroll teams.</li>
<li>Utilize payroll, compliance, and project management systems to support reporting, documentation, and regulatory compliance activities.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications and Skills
<ul>
<li>High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.</li>
<li>0-3 years of experience in payroll, accounting, construction operations, or a related field.</li>
<li>Exposure to construction, prevailing wages, or certified payroll process preferred.</li>
<li>Construction certified (Davis-Bacon Act) payroll experience preferred</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and reconciliations.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in managing records and data.</li>
<li>Effective communication skills and collaboration with multiple teams.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and follow established processes.</li>
</ul>
Compensation:

The minimum and maximum hourly rate of pay that O'Connell Electric Company, Inc. believes in good faith to be accurate for this position at the time of this posting is between $24.00 to $29.00 per hour.

<div>Power Platform Developer/Business Analyst

The Power Platform Developer/Business Analyst's primary role is to identify development opportunities. They will scope, build, deploy and manage solutions to address specific business problems. This position will also manage and support the company's projects and initiatives following our IT strategy.

General responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
<ul>
<li>Develop and maintain custom solutions supporting our business units: Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, Operations and Operations Support</li>
<li>Understand corporate goals, strategies, philosophy, and profitability objectives. Work within and towards those objectives.</li>
<li>Obtain and maintain expert-level knowledge of the company's business systems and data sources/structures.</li>
<li>Compile and analyze data from internal systems in support of management decision making. Per requirements, deliver results such as datasets, reports, and/or written summaries.</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal customers to proactively understand business system needs and develop processes and solutions around business systems.</li>
<li>Create data analysis/comparison reports.</li>
<li>Create and modify reports/apps as needed (Crystal Reports, Sage Report Designer, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI).</li>
<li>Provide process review, recommend, and implement improvements.</li>
<li>Stay current on IT trends and news.</li>
<li>Provide support as needed for end-user documentation and training.</li>
</ul>
Skills and qualifications
<ul>
<li>B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.</li>
<li>Minimum of five years in programming and application development experience.
<ul><li>Including a minimum of at least two years using Power Platform</li>
</ul></li><li>Preferred 6+ years in programming and application development experience.
<ul><li>Including 4+ years using Power Platform</li>
</ul></li><li>Development experience with Crystal Reports, Web Forms, and/or other modern web technologies.</li>
<li>Knowledge of HR, Payroll, and Accounting platforms (such as ADP, Timberline, UKG, or similar systems) is preferred.</li>
<li>Experience working with Collective Bargaining Agreements and within unionized environments is preferred.</li>
<li>Experience developing SQL queries to join and analyze disparate data sources.</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.</li>
<li>Strong systems-thinking ability.</li>
<li>Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with users in all departments and at all levels.</li>
<li>Organized thinking and excellent problem-solving with the ability to think &quot;outside the box&quot;.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to develop solutions to business problems and to articulate those clearly, both verbally and in written form.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.</li>
<li>Self-motivated and able to work independently.</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail.</li>
<li>Periodic Travel to NY Offices required.</li>
<li>Ability to provide 24 hours per day and 7 days a week coverage.</li>

Compensation:

The minimum and maximum annual salary that O'Connell Electric Company, Inc. believes in good faith to be accurate for this position at the time of this posting is between $79,000 to $105,000 annually.
