Position Summary:

The <b>Ticket Seller</b> will assist guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner with ticket purchases, ticket scanning, and distribution of Will Call tickets.</div><div></div><div><br>
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.16</div><div></div><div><b><br>

About the Venue:
<div>
OVG is leading a variety of venues in Grand Junction through unprecedented growth. The <b>Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park</b> (4,500 capacity) hosts 20 concerts annually, and the Avalon Theatre (1,100 capacity) hosts a variety of ticketed events annually and welcomes over 40,000 customers each year.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Arrives for each scheduled shift on time, in uniform and ready to work.</li><li>
Attentively listens to guests&rsquo; questions and requests.</li><li>
Provides accurate information to guests relative to events being held in the building, including dates, times, ticket prices, discounts, restrictions, seating options, event descriptions, and general information about the facility.</li><li>
Accurately generates tickets from the computerized system and retains tickets until the payment transaction is complete.</li><li>
Handles payment transactions, whether by cash or credit card, in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.</li><li>
Ensure that an acceptable credit card is provided, supported by a photo ID, and the guest signs the receipt, or with regard to cash purchases, any change is counted back to the guest.</li><li>
Provides tickets to guests and requests guests to review the tickets to ensure the date and time of the event are as requested.</li><li>
Ensures that cash count is accurate at beginning of shift and that when the cash drawer is counted at the end of the shift by management, the cash in the drawer equals the amount taken in per the ticketing system, plus the starting bank.</li><li>
Listens to guest concerns and complaints in a calm and patient manner and resolves issue to the satisfaction of guest or, if necessary, contacts Supervisor/Manager to assist guest</li><li>
Ticket scanning.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>High school diploma/GED preferred.</li><li>
Basic computer skills, ideally with a computerized ticketing system.</li><li>
Previous cash handling and/or retail experience.</li><li>
Ability to accurately and efficiently deal with large quantities of cash and process credit card transactions.</li><li>
Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to keep accurate and legible records.</li><li>
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends and some holidays.</li></ul>

The <b>Concessions Bartender</b> is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They must be personable, professional and able to work in an ever changing fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.</div><div></div><div><br>
This role will pay an hourly rate of $8.00-$10.00 and is tip eligible.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

About the Venue:

The <b>Arvest Convention Center</b> (ACC), located in the Arena District in downtown Tulsa, is a modern and award-winning venue providing over 275,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. Owned by the City of Tulsa for over 50 years, the ACC has been host to every kind of event imaginable and proudly serves the citizens of Tulsa and guests from around the world.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Must demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards.</li><li>
Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.</li><li>
Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state/federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol.</li><li>
Responsible to learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties &amp; spirits available, and be able to learn to suggestively upsell products to guests.</li><li>
Must pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size.</li><li>
Must check guest&rsquo;s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.</li><li>
Must communicate a cut-off to a guest as required.</li><li>
Listening and responding to any customer requests or concerns.</li><li>
Bartenders are expected to de-escalate intoxicated guest situations. If a guest becomes confrontational, belligerent, or uses extreme profanity, the bartender may contact management or security as required.</li><li>
Contact a management member if he/she is unable to resolve or make a decision beyond the scope of standard decision-making.</li><li>
Request additional product or restock product as required</li><li>
Ability to handle cash accurately is required. Employee is responsible for issued bank at his/her bar.</li><li>
Maintains clean and sanitary work station at all times. Ensures bar equipment is clean &amp; well maintained.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment as required and assisting with organization of the cooler</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Six months or more experience bartending.</li><li>
Accurate cash handling skills.</li><li>
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours.</li><li>
Bartending school preferred</li></ul>

Position Summary:

The<b> Concessions Bartender</b> is responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and high-quality beverage service to guests during the Valero Texas Open. This role operates in a high-volume, outdoor event environment and plays a key part in enhancing the overall guest experience while ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and event standards.</div><div></div><div><br>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following company and event standards.</li><li>
Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state laws.</li><li>
Operate POS systems, handle cash/credit transactions, and maintain accurate cash control.</li><li>
Set up, maintain, and break down concession bar areas before, during, and after events.</li><li>
Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.</li><li>
Monitor guest consumption and address issues professionally and safely.</li><li>
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including outdoor/heat safety protocols.</li><li>
Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.</li><li>
Collaborate with concessions, culinary, and operations teams to ensure smooth service.</li><li>
Adhere to event policies, uniform standards, and service expectations.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Must meet minimum legal age requirements to serve alcohol.</li><li>
Previous bartending, concessions, or event experience preferred.</li><li>
Knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service practices.</li><li>
Strong customer service and communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.</li><li>
Flexible schedule, including weekends, early mornings, and multi-day events.</li><li>
TABC or alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain).</li></ul>
