What we're seeking:A Senior Staff Accountant with 3-5 years of experience, that is dynamic, has attention to detail and a drive for growth.What we offer:<ul><li>The best group of co-workers you'll ever work with.</li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability options</li><li>Company paid life insurance</li><li>401k with company match</li><li>Numerous discounts through all companies under our ownership (Home improvement, golf courses, events, etc!)</li><li>Career growth and development</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide support to accounting department in the processing and review of financial transactions</li><li>Assist in review of general ledger to ensure proper coding of invoices and journal entries</li><li>Assist in review of financial statements to identify unusual transactions and confirm validity</li><li>Post journal entries to record various transactions</li><li>Assist in preparing year end financials and answering questions to external accountants while preparing tax returns</li><li>Document all policies and procedures and share with department</li><li>Train to assist in all other aspects of the accounting department, including Accounts Payable &amp; Accounts Receivable</li><li>Collaborate with coworkers within and outside the accounting department to implement changes or suggest new ideas</li><li>Assist Accounting Manager with projects as assigned, as well as independently recognize additional tasks that are necessary</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, or equivalent experience</li><li>QuickBooks experience a plus, but not required</li><li>Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality</li><li>Ability to become a resource to others in the department needing assistance</li><li>Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills</li><li>Flexibility in a fast paced, ever-changing environment</li><li>Desire to learn and improve with a fast-growing business</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal intervention</li><li>Ability to audit internal books and find errors or procedure problems, and suggest solutions, and execute corrections</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>General ledger accounting: 5 years (Preferred)</li><li>Accounting: 5 years (Preferred)</li><li>General ledger reconciliation: 5 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
