We are currently seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, with a focus on conducting resident assessments and ensuring excellent care delivery.

Position Overview: 
The PRN Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for conducting comprehensive resident assessments to evaluate their health needs, monitor progress, and adjust care plans as necessary. This role requires a skilled nurse who can perform detailed assessments, identify potential health issues, and work closely with the healthcare team to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a PRN nurse, you will have the flexibility to work as needed, with shifts available during the day, evening, and on weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Conduct detailed and accurate initial and ongoing resident health assessments, identifying medical, physical, and emotional needs.</li>
<li>Monitor and document changes in residents' conditions, reporting findings to the medical team.</li>
<li>Update and review care plans based on assessment results to ensure optimal care for each resident.</li>
<li>Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions as prescribed by physicians.</li>
<li>Collaborate with physicians, care staff, and families to develop personalized care plans for each resident.</li>
<li>Provide health education to residents and their families regarding conditions, treatments, and self-care.</li>
<li>Ensure that nursing assessments and other documentation comply with regulatory standards and facility policies.</li>
<li>Respond to emergency situations promptly and provide critical care when necessary.</li>
<li>Participate in care team meetings to discuss care updates and changes in residents&rsquo; health status.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in NJ.</li>
<li>Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatric nursing preferred.</li>
<li>Experience in conducting resident health assessments and developing care plans.</li>
<li>Current BLS/CPR certification.</li>
<li>Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.</li>
<li>Ability to handle the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, and lifting.</li></ul></div>
