Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista-counter server to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced caf&eacute; environment. Your expertise in coffee preparation and your ability to engage with customers will contribute to the warm and inviting atmosphere we strive to maintain.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks, ensuring consistency and quality in every cup.</li><li>Operate the square POS system for processing transactions efficiently.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute;, including food preparation areas and customer seating.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.</li><li>Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.</li><li>Adhere to food safety standards and regulations while handling food and beverages.</li><li>Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment focused on teamwork and mutual support.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous barista or coffee experience preferred, with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.</li><li>Experience in food service or the food industry is advantageous.</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.</li><li>Knowledge of retail math principles related to sales and inventory management is beneficial.
