Job Description: Rigging SupervisorPosition: Lifting Supervisor Location: Birkath Al Awamer ,QatarKey Responsibilities:<ul><li>Supervision and Leadership:</li><li>Supervise and direct a team of riggers, ensuring that all rigging tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and within project timelines.</li><li>Provide training and guidance to rigging personnel on best practices, safety protocols, and company policies.</li><li>Monitor work progress and adjust resources as necessary to meet project schedules.</li><li>Rigging Operations:</li><li>Oversee the planning and execution of all rigging operations, including the lifting, positioning, and securing of heavy loads.</li><li>Ensure proper rigging equipment, including slings, hoists, pulleys, and cranes, is used and maintained in good working order.</li><li>Conduct risk assessments before each rigging operation to identify hazards and implement mitigation measures.</li><li>Ensure proper placement and stabilization of loads during lifting and moving operations.</li><li>Safety and Compliance:</li><li>Ensure all rigging activities adhere to safety regulations and company safety standards.</li><li>Perform regular inspections of rigging equipment and machinery to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.</li><li>Identify hazards on-site and take corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries.</li><li>Complete and maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and safety checks for rigging equipment.</li><li>Project Coordination:</li><li>Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to plan and schedule rigging operations according to project requirements.</li><li>Coordinate logistics for the delivery, placement, and removal of rigging equipment and materials.</li><li>Troubleshoot any issues that arise during rigging operations and ensure quick resolution.</li><li>Documentation and Reporting:</li><li>Maintain accurate records of rigging activities, including work logs, inspections, and incident reports.</li><li>Report any equipment malfunctions or safety violations to management.</li><li>Assist in preparing reports for senior management on the status and progress of rigging operations.</li><li>Equipment Management:</li><li>Ensure the availability and proper functioning of all rigging equipment on-site.</li><li>Coordinate the maintenance, repair, and replacement of rigging gear as necessary.</li><li>Oversee the storage, handling, and transportation of rigging equipment to and from work sites.</li></ul>Food &amp; Accommodation provided by company.Sent cv to hr@obg.qaJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR3,000.00 per month
