 Duties
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Expertly mixes and serves a complete range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while managing all financial transactions, including recording sales and handling cash or charge payments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains bar inventory by tracking beverage usage, submitting re-stocking requests, and verifying the quantity and description of all incoming supplies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures the bar, utensils, equipment, and entire work area are kept in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition at all times.
 </li>
 <li>
 Uses tact and professional judgment to deny service to individuals who appear intoxicated or become unruly, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all guests.

 <li>
 Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.

 Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.

 A one-year probationary period may be required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.

 <li>
 Regularly lifts and carries items weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds. Stands for prolonged periods.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work is primarily indoors. Exposed to cuts and bruises.
 </li>
 <li>
 Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
 </li>
 <li>
 Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with Army Regulation 215-3.
 </li>
 <li>
 This position requires a favorably adjudicated T1/NACI background investigation.
 </li>
 <li>
 A physical examination, arranged by the employer, is required prior to employment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be willing to accept intermittent, on-call employment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Management reserves the right to reassign employees to other facilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work schedule will be irregular. The incumbent will be required to work, nights, weekends, holidays, and/or unique events.

 A Qualified Candidate Must Possess All Of The Following

 Ability to:

 mix drinks using alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, AND
 </li>
 <li>
 perform simple arithmetic to calculate bills and make change, AND
 </li>
 <li>
 recognize and handle intoxicated patrons, AND
 </li>

 recognize shortages of supplies and replace them as necessary, AND
 </li>
 <li>
 monitor and direct the work of other bar staff, AND
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 meet state/local age requirements (18 years old) for the serving of alcoholic beverages by the start of employment, which is estimated to be 1/29/2026, AND
 </li>
 <li>
 physical ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
 </li>

 This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
