As the Maintenance Planner at our Direct Air Capture facility in Ector County, TX you will:
<ul><li>Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and/or transport our products
</li><li>Support and participate in programs, methods, systems, and practices for maintaining a safe and environmentally sound work environment
</li><li>Support the safety process systems through participation in planned inspections, job observations, near miss reporting, incident investigation, area audits, and other programs as required
</li><li>Plan and set schedules for maintenance work for Oxy, A1 and outside contractors
</li><li>Determine logistics completion of projects, define work scope, labor requirements, material &amp; equipment
</li><li>Procure equipment, materials and services per plant specifications and procedures, using SAP to initiate, process, and track purchase requisitions and deliveries
</li><li>Track area planning backlog and work orders, ensuring data is current and accurate
</li><li>Create and maintain Preventative Maintenance schedules (PM&rsquo;s) for equipment, as needed
</li><li>Create/maintain Bill of Materials (BOM&rsquo;s) for all major pieces of equipment in assigned areas of the plant and ensures accuracy of stores inventory requirements by evaluating maintenance needs, specifications and quantities
</li><li>Backfill for maintenance supervisors as required for vacation, outages, etc., and provide off hour support
</li><li>Procure equipment, materials and services, per plant specifications and procedures
</li><li>Make recommendations on equipment and materials to purchase, as well as recommendations on external resources (i.e., vendors)
</li><li>Coordinate and monitor fieldwork being performed by contractors and indirectly oversee the work of contract groups and evaluate results
</li><li>Evaluate contractor performance and makes recommendations for contractor assignments
</li><li>Assist engineers with plant projects, technical details, &amp; specifications and makes recommendations on projects such as timeline, labor requirements, work scope and material
</li><li>Develop and prepare maintenance projects for AFE submittal
</li><li>Make recommendations on projects such as timelines, labor requirements, work scope and material
</li><li>Use the Management of Change process to develop, document, and implement plant PSM changes
</li><li>Track area planning backlog and work orders to ensure data is current and accurate
</li><li>Provide on-site, off-hours, call-out support, as needed, to cover maintenance issues, direct personnel, &amp; obtain materials or services
</li><li>Continually looks for opportunities to improve plant reliability &amp; to reduce plant costs
</li><li>Support the Process Safety and Risk Management goals and objectives and participate in site-wide Process Safety and Risk Reduction activities as requested
</li><li>Support and fulfill the requirements of the plant&rsquo;s ISO Quality System
</li><li>Complete any additional responsibilities assigned by Plant Management
</li></ul>Qualifications
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED
</li><li>Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in repair, installation, troubleshooting and upkeep of plant equipment/facilities
</li><li>Working knowledge of the routine maintenance process, regulations and policies.
</li><li>High proficiency in Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and good working knowledge of SAP
</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills
</li><li>Must be able to read, write and speak in English
</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team
</li><li>Ability to work weekends, holidays and respond to callouts on a non-routine basis
</li><li>Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs
</li><li>Walking, bending, stooping is required
</li><li>Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including the use of a respirator and respond to visual and audible alarms
