The <b>BSA/KYC Support Analyst </b>is responsible for assisting the BSA Department with all BSA requirements necessary to achieve and maintain a satisfactory level of BSA compliance, safety, and soundness. This position provides direct support to the KYC and BSA areas.</div><br>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Examine Know Your Customer (KYC) forms for completeness and accuracy, ensuring profiles meet BSA policy standards.</li><li>
Evaluate expected customer activity to confirm alignment with their business profile.</li><li>
Conduct research on customers for adverse media using internet sources and compliance tools.</li><li>
Identify and address KYC deficiencies, update profiles as needed and analyze unusual account activity flagged by AML systems or manual reviews.</li><li>
Perform detailed research using internal systems and public sources to validate cases, including verification via World Check.</li><li>
Compose Suspicious Activity Report (SAR), via the AML Monitoring software system, for management approval and prepare SAR files for distribution to FINCEN.</li><li>
Monitor accounts, which related SAR&rsquo;s have been filed but the account was not closed, within 90 days of SAR filing.
</li><li>Recommend actions to BSA management based on findings and prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) for FINCEN submission.</li><li>
Track accounts linked to SARs to ensure compliance within required timelines.</li></ul>
Qualifications:

Requirements</b></div><br>

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent in a related field of study such as Business or Criminal Justice and two 2+ years of banking experience with a strong understanding of BSA regulations; or</li><li>
An Associate&rsquo;s degree or equivalent in a related field of study and 2+ years of BSA related experience.</li></ul><div><i>
Combination of education and experience will be considered.</i></div><div><b><br>

Must be able to understand and implement job related policies and procedures.</li><li>
Must have good project and time management skills.</li><li>
High quality service advocacy.</li><li>
Must possess good analytical, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication.</li><li>
Computer knowledgeable in MS Software, (e.g. Excel, Word, and Outlook) and internet savvy.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Preferences</b></div><ul><li>
SAR and BSA course training.</li><li>
Knowledge of banking laws and regulations and the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
