<div><div><b>Job Summary:</b></div>
<div>We are seeking a Full-Time Legal Assistant to provide administrative support and legal research assistance to our in-house legal team.</div>
<div>The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with a wide range of legal tasks, including i) preparing legal documents, ii) conducting legal research, iii) managing case files, iv) managing corporate compliance with state agencies, v) managing and coordinating the negotiation, execution and oversight of vendor contracts, and vi) assisting with client communication.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Assist with the preparation and execution of legal documents, such as contracts.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Manage renewal and termination of vendor contracts.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Conduct legal research and analyze legal materials.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Organize and maintain case files and document databases.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Communicate with clients, and other parties to obtain information and documents necessary for legal proceedings or legal transactions.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Perform general administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, scheduling and coordinating meetings, and preparing correspondence.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Stay up-to-date with changes in legal regulations and procedures.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
<div></div><div><b>Requirements:</b></div>
<ul><li>Degree or Certifications in a related field, such as pre-law or political science</li></ul>
<ul><li>2+ years of experience working in a legal environment</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong research and analytical skills</li></ul>
<ul><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases</li></ul>
<ul><li>Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li></ul>
