Job Description:

The Operations Auditor role within the Distribution Center (&ldquo;DC&rdquo;) at Ocean State Job Lot (&ldquo;OSJL&rdquo; or &ldquo;Company&rdquo;) is responsible for auditing the accuracy of vendor shipments, capturing the volume and universal product codes (&ldquo;UPCs&rdquo;) on all items received into the Warehouse Inventory, and performing inventory cycle counts and other audits as assigned. 


Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Perform cycle counts throughout the DC.</li>
<li>Inspect conveyor lanes and induction accuracy on a daily basis.</li>
<li>Effectively operate Cubiscan devices to capture unit volumes and UPCs when needed.</li>
<li>Update the Internet sale store&rsquo;s inventory on a regular basis and at the end of each year.</li>
<li>Conduct periodic audits of outbound pallets and totes to ensure picker accuracy.</li>
<li>Assist with the weekly advertisement and flyer accuracy in Store 123.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Basic math skills are required.</li>
<li>Proficient in Warehouse Management System and Google platform (i.e., Sites, Slides, Drive, Docs, Sheets) and ability to to learn several software systems.</li>
<li>Ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual in Spanish is preferred.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail; this role requires exceptional accuracy.</li>
<li>Ability to obtain a license to operate an Order Picker at high elevations.</li>
<li>Ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision.</li></ul> 


Work Environment:
<ul>
<li>Works primarily in a DC environment. The DC warehouse environment is characterized by temperature extremes, noise, movement of conveyors and equipment, and other conditions associated with the operation of a high volume distribution center.</li>
<li>Responsible for physical activities including, but not limited to, using equipment, positioning self to properly complete tasks, ascending and descending to heights of twenty feet or more safely and without limitation as well as moving and transporting merchandise on a frequent basis.</li>
<li>Should be able to lift and move 75 lbs of material on a regular basis.</li>
<li>Should be able to bend, lift, stretch, and reach both below the waist and above the head.</li>
<li>Must be able to remain stationary and continually move for up to ten to twelve hours per day depending on various assigned tasks.</li>
<li>Be flexible to work other times in other departments during peak seasons.</li>
<li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.</li>
