Job OverviewDelivers library materials and other items to other library branches on a twice-weekly basis, using the library-supplied vehicle; operates and maintains the library vehicle.Essential Functions:Drives the library vehicle and maintains a current, valid Driver&rsquo;s license in good standing. Lifts and transports bins weighing up to forty (40) pounds in and out of the vehicle and in and out of library buildings. Regular attendance and punctuality are required.Duties:<ul><li>Loads and unloads the library vehicle to deliver materials among the branches</li><li>Follows the route and schedule for deliveries</li><li>Sorts materials for distribution to the branches</li><li>Operates and maintains the library vehicle, which includes checking and filling of gas and tires, washing/cleaning the vehicle, and taking the vehicle for service as needed.</li><li>Communicates any issues with the library vehicle to the Director</li><li>Uses the library-provided gas card to purchase gas for the library vehicle</li><li>Adheres to and upholds library policies and procedures</li><li>Promotes a positive image of the library</li><li>Requires regular and punctual attendance</li></ul>Ocmulgee Regional Library System serves Bleckley, Dodge, Pulaski, Telfair, Wheeler, and Wilcox Counties.Pay: $10.00/hourSchedule: up to 19 hours per week; some evenings and weekends may be required (with advance notice)Location: in-person; based in Eastman, GAApplications: Apply in-person at the Dodge County Library, 531 Second Ave, Eastman, GA 31023.First review of applications: April 20, 2026; position open until filledPay: $10.00 per hourPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
