Job descriptionLuxe Aesthetics is seeking a part-time (Monday-Thursday), enthusiastic, dependable and adaptable Medical Assistant to join our elite healthcare team.This position will primarily support our Winston-Salem office with casual, as needed, support to our Greensboro Office as well. The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, and comfortable with traveling to different offices based on scheduling needs.At Luxe, our goal is to provide superior, high-quality oculofacial plastic services in a warm and respectful environment&mdash;one in which we would be happy to send our own family members! Our new team member should embody this value, demonstrating professionalism, positivity, and a strong commitment to both patient care and teamwork.Duties include (but are not limited to):<ul><li>Provide clinical assistance to providers, including patient work-ups, documentation, triaging, and assisting with procedures</li><li>Perform visual field tests as required for diagnostics and treatment planning</li><li>Educate patients on preoperative and postoperative instructions</li><li>Review upcoming appointments to ensure completeness and provider preparedness</li><li>Follow up with referring doctors and/or patients to collect necessary medical information</li><li>Ensure timely follow-ups with referring providers</li><li>Perform medical equipment sterilization and maintain clinic cleanliness according to guidelines</li><li>Support daily office operations as needed</li></ul>Qualifications and Skills:<ul><li>Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills with patients, providers, and colleagues</li><li>Professional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences</li><li>Experience with Google Suite programs and similar software</li><li>Experience with EMR/EHR systems (we use AthenaOne)</li><li>Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills&mdash;proactively anticipating needs and planning ahead</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality</li><li>Ability to work independently and multitask effectively while contributing to team success</li><li>Highly dependable, organized, and efficient with time management</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: From $17.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li></ul>Work Location: In person
