About the role</b></h5><p>
We're looking for an Senior Engineering Manager to lead engineering across our UK Value Stream &mdash; one of Odevo's most strategically important and technically complex domains.</p><div><p>
The UK business spans multiple product lines, internally developed platforms, and acquired SaaS solutions serving both customers and operational teams. This ecosystem is critical to enabling scale and customer value across one of our largest markets.</p><p>
This is not a greenfield environment. The technology landscape has evolved through growth and acquisitions. Success here means bringing clarity to complexity: modernising where it matters, integrating where it adds value, and helping teams make pragmatic decisions that build long-term foundations.</p><p>
As Senior Engineering Manager, you will help shape the technical direction and operating model for the UK domain, reporting to the Global Head of Engineering and working closely with Product, Architecture, Operations, and business stakeholders.</p><p>
AI is a key part of how Odevo builds and operates. Who you are</b></h5><p>
You are a proven engineering leader with a track record in complex, multi-product environments &mdash; including environments shaped by acquisitions, legacy systems, or platform modernisation. You are comfortable moving between strategic discussions, organisational leadership, and technical decision-making, with the credibility to engage meaningfully at each level. You understand how to balance technical quality with business priorities and operational realities, and you communicate trade-offs clearly to engineers and executives alike. You are passionate about building great teams and creating environments where people grow and do their best work. And you bring genuine excitement about AI and emerging technology.</p><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications</b></h5><ul><li><p>
Significant experience leading software engineering teams across multiple products or domains.</p></li><li><p>
Strong background in hands-on software development.</p></li><li><p>
Experience with complex product ecosystems that include legacy platforms, acquired products, integrations, and modernisation initiatives.</p></li><li><p>
Strong understanding of modern engineering practices: cloud architecture, APIs, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and security.</p></li><li><p>
Experience modernising platforms within the Microsoft/.NET ecosystem is a strong advantage.</p></li><li><p>
SaaS or product-led environment experience is highly beneficial.</p></li><li><p>
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.</p></li><li><p>
Interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies.</p></li><li><p>
Experience with Azure, AWS, Microsoft technologies, data platforms, or AI tooling is a plus.</p></li><li><p>
