 We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial reporting. This role plays a critical part in month-end close, general ledger integrity, and financial analysis, working closely with the Accounting Manager and cross‑functional teams to ensure the company&rsquo;s financial position is clearly and reliably reflected.
 
 
 
 This position is ideal for an accountant who enjoys hands-on accounting, problem-solving, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 Job Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 
 <li>
 Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations, including accruals and reclassifications, and maintain supporting documentation
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Assist with the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met accurately and efficiently
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Prepare and analyze balance sheet and P&amp;L variance explanations
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Calculate and prepare monthly commission earnings
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Accounts payable and accounts receivable postings
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Process check disbursements
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Perform payroll coding and related journal entries
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as assigned
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and documentation
 </li>
 
 </ul>
 
 
 
 QUALIFICATIONS
 
 
 
 <ul>
 
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent experience and education.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Three (3) years&rsquo; experience as a Staff Accountant in the area of financial statement preparation, budgeting, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Must be a self-starter and have the ability to multi-task and be detail oriented.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Understanding of spreadsheet and database applications.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Must have strong knowledge of Accounting principles, including U.S. GAAP.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Ability to analyze financial data.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Advanced Excel skills required.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Excellent reasoning skills.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Ability to work independently, self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Proven ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Ability to travel to attend training and meetings as needed.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Projects a professional image in all aspects of work performance, which includes, but not limited to personal habits, demeanor and attire.
 </li>
