What you'll do<ul><li>
Drive business growth: Generate new business through cold calling, on average 40 calls per day.</li><li>
Build and maintain a customer base: Recognize freight forwarding opportunities and deliver tailored solutions.</li><li>
Master the logistics industry: Partner with internal subject matter experts to master OEC Group's full suite of global shipping services.</li><li>
Offer customized solutions: Consult clients on optimizing their supply chain using ocean, air, warehousing &amp; distribution, LTL &amp; FTL transportation, cargo insurance and customs brokerage.</li><li>
Achieve &amp; exceed goals: Hit monthly sales quotas and set new benchmarks for success.</li><li>
Leverage cutting-edge tools: Utilize Sugar (CRM) to track client's information, manage your sales pipeline, and measure success using actionable KPIs.</li><li>
Collaborate for success: Work closely with our sales support team to ensure quotes align with each client's requirements.</li><li>
Be a trusted advisor: Conduct in-person meetings with existing and prospective clients in your designated territory, strengthening relationships and securing long-term business.</li><li>
Stay competitive: Keep a pulse on global freight forwarding trends, ensuring our strategies align with industry shifts and emerging opportunities.</li><li>
Work cross-culturally: Maintain open communication with departments and oversea offices to ensure seamless global logistics.</li></ul>

Chicago Office: Monday - Friday | 8:00 am &ndash; 5:00 pm CST

Senior Sales Account Executive

As a Human Resources Coordinator or Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting various functions of the Human Resources department including (but not limited to): benefits, employee leave, reporting, training, and administration of company policies. You will partner with all employees within our region to organize and disperse HR-related information. 
 
Requirements:
<ul><li>Minimum 2 year of experience in Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Talent Acquisition, Training and Development, or similar roles required.</li><li>
Proficiency with the HRIS, ADP Workforce Now, is required.</li><li>
Comfortable working independently and on team-based projects.</li><li>
Ability to exercise discretion and tact in the working environment.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of employment/labor laws and regulations.</li><li>
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.</li></ul>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Support recruiting efforts and onboarding of qualified applicants.
</li><li>Coordinate online background verification checks.
</li><li>Maintain and deliver compelling new hire orientations.</li><li>
Maintain and manage employees' profile.</li><li>
Ensure mandatory training and continuing education is completed (i.e. safety training, employee handbook training, anti-harassment training, etc.).</li><li>
Assist with employee benefit programs (Open Enrollment) and employee leave requests.</li><li>
Support HR Manager in the coordination of disciplinary discussions, separations, and investigations.</li><li>
Oversee projects and related training to improve internal employee and management experience.</li></ul>
Salary:<ul><li>
$24-$30/hour dependent on transferable experience and education level.</li></ul>
