 Headquartered in Arizona, OEM is experiencing rapid growth and is currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven Senior Controller who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The Senior Controller will manage all aspects of the accounting and financial reporting activities.&nbsp;
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 This is a full-time position based in our Scottsdale, AZ corporate office. Pre-employment background and drug screening are required.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &nbsp;

 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Manage&nbsp;all operations in the accounting department, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledgers, cost accounting, revenue recognition
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Produces the annual budget and forecasts, reports variance to budget to management
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Maintain integrity and accuracy of monthly journal entries and general ledger close process
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Provides financial analysis with emphasis on customer quotes and gross margins
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Effectively collaborate with people at all levels of the organization
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Works with external CPA firm and auditors as necessary
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Drives annual benefits renewal pricing and analysis
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
 
 
 
 
 
 </li>

 Minimum Job Requirements:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Strong knowledge of GAAP
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Strong analytical skills in accounting and financial reporting
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Excellent organizational and time management skills
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting or finance required
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 10+ years of comprehensive accounting and finance experience
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Financial reporting experience required
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 
 
 Aerospace and Defense experience a plus
 
 
 
 
 
 </li>
