Oh To Be A Dog is looking for fun, detail oriented, loving dog walkers to join our team. We service the Westside of Manhattan from 148th down to the Battery.YOU MUST HAVE PROFESSIONAL pet care experience (unfortunately, owning a pet does not qualify!) We are looking for a part time person to start now! Could turn into full time based on needs.YOU MUST:<ul><li>Be an active person, you will be walking all day and commuting from walk to walk.</li><li>Be able to work on your feet your entire shift, it is a very physical job.</li><li>Have some sort of professional experience with dogs.</li><li>Be comfortable around ALL sizes and breeds.</li><li>Be able to work independently, paying attention to details from clients and the owner.</li><li>Be able to follow directions and have a good attitude.</li><li>Have strong written communication skills.</li><li>Understand the importance of safety when walking/being aware of your surroundings.</li><li>Be professional and proud to represent a strong brand.</li><li>Be able to work the shift you are hired for with no scheduling conflicts.</li></ul>JOB DUTIES:<ul><li>Follow a daily schedule you receive on an app on your phone without needing to be micromanaged. Show up to your first walk on time and your day will flow seamlessly.</li><li>Pick up dogs from their homes and be able to pay attention to details such as removing shoes, wiping dogs paws, being professional and courteous to any pet parents that are home.</li><li>Walk the dog for the designated time, some include dog park visits. Walks range from 15 mins to 60 mins.</li><li>Scan in and out of our GPS service for each and every walk, provide photos and notes in the app and a good/clear upbeat note.</li><li>Most of all have so much fun with the dogs! We love our pet parents to be jealous of their dog when we bring them home.</li></ul>AGAIN, YOU MUST BE WILLING TO WORK A VERY PHYSICAL JOB, COMMUTE TO THE WESTSIDE OF MANHATTAN AND COMMUTE FROM WALK TO WALK, BY FOOT, SUBWAY OR BUS.
