Ohio Orthopedic Network, LLC, is seeking to hire a Hybrid-Full-Time Medical Assistant (MA) to help ensure that our patients are getting the care and treatments they need. This MA position comes with a competitive starting wage based on education and years of experience.RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Greet and prepare patients for medical examinations, procedures, and treatments</li><li>Coordinate with local medical facilities and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.</li><li>Record patients' medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information</li><li>Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and treatments</li><li>Perform administrative duties, including managing patient documentation, scheduling, and maintaining accurate records</li><li>Handle administrative tasks such as patient documents, reaching out to referral resources such as Physical Therapy, MRI for scheduling.</li><li>Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, confidentiality standards (HIPAA), and clinic protocols</li><li>Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality protocols.</li><li>Communicate effectively with patients to provide clear instructions and support</li><li>Support team operations by multitasking and adapting to varying patient volumes and clinic needs</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Graduated and received certification from an accredited medical assistant program OR eligibility to obtain certification</li><li>Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to multitask and work effectively with the team.</li><li>Ability to be on your feet for extended periods</li><li>CPR certification or willing to attain upon hire</li><li>Fluent in Spanish is a must</li></ul>ABOUT OHIO ORTHOPEDIC NETWORKOhio Orthopedic Network (OHON) is an orthopedic practice specializing in workers' compensation and personal injuries. Our practice focuses exclusively on personal injury and workers&rsquo; compensation patients. We do not work with traditional third-party payors like Medicare or BCBS, allowing us to provide tailored care for clients recovering from work-related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and other personal injury cases.Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehab Tech to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver hands-on, patient-centered care. The Rehab Tech will assist the clinician team with administration and clinical duties.
