If yes, then this role might be a good fit for you...Day-to-Day: As a driver for Ohio Valley Cab &amp; Delivery Service, you&rsquo;ll mainly be transporting clients to and from their healthcare appointments&hellip; but it&rsquo;s also much more than just being a safe, reliable driver. Most clients are unable to drive themselves, elderly, don&rsquo;t have access to a vehicle, or cannot travel alone. Therefore, as a driver, your service may range from a hands-off experience of just driving, to one that requires physically helping a patient into the vehicle, securing them, and walking them into their appointment.A friendly attitude and the utmost prioritization of customer safety are the two most important factors of job success and job satisfaction.This Role: This position is a role with hours AROUND 7am-4pm (Mon - Fri), and weekends on rare occasions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<ul><li>While performing the duties of this job Employee must be able to:</li></ul>&ndash; Safely operate motor vehicle in all weather conditions and regularly enter and exit a motor vehicle&ndash; Provide supervision and assist clients with varying levels of disabilities to enter and exit the vehicle.&ndash; Work a variety of timeframes, to include early mornings, days and evenings.Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Clearly communicate and receive instructions from the Office and /or the clients.</li><li>Perform excellent &ldquo;Passenger Sensitivity Awareness&rdquo; characteristics such as being friendly, courteous and patient and have positive body language.</li><li>Work towards peaceful resolution of conflicts, without being argumentative.</li><li>Maintain timeliness of assigned routes and schedules and notify the Office of any accidents, incidents or problems</li><li>Maintain order on vehicle at all times reporting any unsafe, or disruptive behavior to the Office</li><li>Maintain accurate, legible and complete driver paperwork and return completed driver paperwork on a timely basis.</li><li>Operation of cell phone</li><li>Maintain vehicle preventive maintenance checks and report problems to the Office on a timely basis.</li><li>Maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of vehicle as well as be clean and well groomed.</li><li>Complete/Attend all mandatory training as offered by Ohio Valley Cab</li></ul>Prerequisites:<ul><li>5 year minimum driving experience</li><li>Valid Ohio Driver&rsquo;s License</li><li>Good Driving Record: Cannot have the following:</li></ul>&ndash; Convicted more than 2 vehicle moving violations within last 24 months/more than 1 at-fault accident resulting in personal injury/property damage within 36 months, or 2 or more cumulative vehicle accidents within 5 years.&ndash; Combination of 1 unrelated vehicle moving violation and 1 at-fault accident resulting in personal injury/property damage within 24 months.&ndash; Suspension of driver&rsquo;s vehicle operator&rsquo;s license within 3 years.Other Requirements:<ul><li>Pre-Employment Drug Screen</li><li>Background Check</li><li>Successful completion of online driver training courses</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: This is a 1099 position, Drivers are paid a percent of the trip rate minus fuel and a small daily car charge.Average weekly pay 300-750 dependent on desired trip volume and trip ratesExpected hours: 20-40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Company Vehicle provided with gas card</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Monday to Friday, some weekends</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Driving: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: On the roadJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $75.00 - $150.00 per dayBenefits:<ul><li>Company car</li><li>Fuel card</li></ul>Work Location: On the road
