 to children. The selected individual will be responsible for a range of services, including

 In this role, you will play an essential part in the mental health and wellness of children, offering
 
 crisis intervention
 
 , initial contacts, and delivering
 
 consultation
 
 ,
 
 education
 
 , and
 
 prevention services
 
 as needed.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Case Management: Manage and coordinate cases, ensuring children receive the support they need through proper treatment plans
 </li>
 <li>
 Psychosocial Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments of children to identify mental health concerns and develop appropriate treatment plans
 </li>
 <li>
 Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and initial contacts to support children in immediate need
 </li>
 <li>
 Consultation &amp; Education: Offer consultation, education, and prevention services to families and community stakeholders to support children&rsquo;s well-being
 </li>
 <li>
 Treatment Planning: Develop and monitor treatment plans for children to ensure effective interventions and track progress
 
 
 </li>

 Strong skills in individual, group, and family therapy as well as case management
 </li>

 Experience conducting psychosocial evaluations and developing comprehensive treatment plans

 </li>
 <li>

 Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

 Behavioral Health Case Manager II: Requires a baccalaureate degree from an accredited program in a behavioral health field. Contingent to training availability, Department sponsored case management certification will be completed within 30 days of start date
 </li>
 <li>
 Senior Behavioral Health Case Manager II: Requires a bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited program in a behavioral health or closely related behavioral science field and two (2) years of experience in professional case management behavioral health services. Contingent to training availability, Department sponsored case management certification will be completed within 30 days of start date

 About us:
 
 Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center in Lawton, OK is a community-based center with a primary focus on mental health and substance abuse treatment. The inpatient and outpatient services they provide include special groups and programs for adolescents, persons with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, seniors and older adults, women, men, and criminal justice groups.
 
 
 
 Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing:
 
 Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.

 Annual Salary Range: $47,750 - $49,500 + shift differentials depending on education and experience.

 </ul>
 Minimum Qualifications &amp; Experience:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Behavioral Case Manager I: Education and Experience requirements at this level consists of a High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or High School Equivalency (HSE) Credential and six (6) months of behavioral health experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Behavioral Case Manager II: Thirty-six (36) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent or
 </li>
 <li>
 Sixty (60) college credit hours and have a minimum of twelve (12) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder or
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field and have a minimum of six (6) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder or
 </li>
 <li>
 Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a behavioral health related field or
 </li>
 <li>
 Have a current license as a registered nurse in the State of Oklahoma with documented experience in behavioral health care.
 </li>
 <li>
 Senior Behavioral Case Manager II &ndash; Same Minimum Qualification as a Behavioral Case Manager II plus 2 additional years of experience as a case manager.

 ✅ Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and be willing to travel for job-related needs.
 
 
 ✅ This position is safety-sensitive and requires pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
