YOUR DAY-TO-DAY<ul><li>
Take charge of managing project scope, schedule, and quality while ensuring materials and equipment are used efficiently.</li><li>
Create thoughtful phasing and sequencing plans that keep projects on track and meet important milestones.</li><li>
Build strong, clear communication channels with project owners, architects, and stakeholders to ensure everyone stays aligned and project goals are achieved.</li><li>
Lead and inspire craft employees and on-site personnel to perform at their best every day.</li><li>
Foster growth and development by mentoring team members and encouraging their success.</li><li>

YOU&rsquo;RE READY FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE<ul><li>
Industry Expertise: Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience managing healthcare construction projects, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing projects valued at $30 million or more. Strong familiarity with the unique regulations and requirements specific to healthcare environments.</li><li>
Clean Room Management: Understanding the critical importance of maintaining clean room standards within healthcare facilities, including air quality and contamination control.</li><li>
Infection Control: Skilled in implementing protocols to minimize infection risks during construction, ensuring patient and staff safety.</li><li>
Medical Equipment Coordination: Experience collaborating with medical equipment vendors and facility staff to seamlessly integrate specialized equipment into the construction process.</li><li>
Life Safety Systems: Knowledge of healthcare-specific life safety features such as fire suppression systems, emergency exits, and evacuation procedures.</li><li>
Hospital Access Regulations: Ability to meet government and hospital access requirements, including background checks and immunizations, to ensure smooth site access.</li><li>

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY<ul><li>
Lead all phases of healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with exceptional quality and safety.</li><li>
Build trusted relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and trade partners to maintain alignment and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>
Manage RFIs, ASIs, CCDs, submittals, permits, change orders, and closeout documentation with a proactive and organized approach.</li><li>
Develop and maintain detailed CPM schedules (Primavera P6) in collaboration with superintendents and schedulers.</li><li>
Collaborate closely with field teams to support seamless execution of work, including coordination of long-lead procurement and self-perform operations.</li><li>
Oversee subcontractor management from buyout through project completion, including scope development, coordination, and performance tracking.</li><li>
Mentor and develop project engineers and junior team members through ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance reviews.</li><li>
Coordinate with estimating and accounting teams to manage project budgets, forecasts, billing, and cost controls.</li><li>
Represent Okland in OAC meetings and internal project reviews, ensuring all project stakeholders are informed and aligned.</li><li>
Support preconstruction efforts, project pursuits, and business development by contributing your expertise and insights.</li></ul>

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Concrete Superintendent to join our team. The Concrete Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and managing concrete construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of concrete construction, and the ability to coordinate and manage multiple crews. 
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY<ul><li>
You will be the leader in creating, promoting, and enforcing Okland&rsquo;s exceptional safety culture.</li><li>
Lead teams both in the office and the field on the day-to-day operations of the project for the concrete scope of work.</li><li>
Responsible for all planning, sequencing, scheduling, manpower, field coordination, forming systems, concrete placements, weekly labor/material/equipment management, material procurement, etc.., for your assigned project(s).</li><li>
Ensure all work performed is completed on time and within budget while still delivering the highest level of quality our partners have grown to expect when working with Okland.</li><li>
Early engagement with our estimating and preconstruction partners to win new work as well as planning upcoming work we have in the queue.</li><li>
Partnering with the project superintendent to develop and maintain the project schedule and logistics plans.</li><li>
Partner with the project manager to complete monthly cost projections.</li><li>
Maintain a thorough understanding of all trade partner contract agreements, holding parties accountable while still being fair.</li><li>
Active training and mentoring of both our craft and salaried partners.</li><li>
Ensures all Okland&rsquo;s policies and procedures are implemented and followed by all personnel on the jobsite.</li><li>

YOU&rsquo;RE READY FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE<ul><li>
8+ years of construction experience managing self-perform concrete projects</li><li>
Experience in managing both horizontal and vertical forming systems</li><li>
Comfortable with using a computer and using programs like P6, Excel, Bluebeam, and Procore</li><li>
General knowledge of construction sequencing and interface between construction materials.</li></ul>
