We&rsquo;re not just shaping homes, buildings, interiors and landscapes &mdash; we&rsquo;re crafting experiences, solving complex problems, and setting a new standard for how projects are delivered.We&rsquo;re here to rethink what&rsquo;s possible &ndash; and then build it.Role:<ul><li>The Carpenter is a skilled craftsperson responsible for executing rough carpentry, fine finish work, and building envelope detailing, including waterproofing, on high-end residential design-build projects. This individual demonstrates precision, professionalism, and a deep understanding of construction sequencing. The Carpenter collaborates closely with the Superintendent, Project Lead, and design team to ensure that all elements, from structural framing to exterior weatherproofing and interior finishes, are executed with care, foresight, and high quality.</li></ul>Core Responsibilities:<ul><li>Rough Carpentry: Frame walls, roofs, floors, and stairs; install sheathing, and structural blocking per plan.</li><li>Finish Carpentry: Install cabinetry, millwork, trim, doors, stairs, paneling, and other fine architectural elements.</li><li>Waterproofing: Implement best practices for weatherproofing assemblies including flashing, rain screens, window/door integration, deck membranes, and below-grade systems.</li><li>Interpret and build from construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical details with minimal supervision.</li><li>Collaborate with jobsite Superintendents, Project Leads and subcontractors to sequence work and solve complex field conditions.</li><li>Conduct site protection, surface prep, and material installation with exceptional care and cleanliness.</li><li>Use tools and equipment safely and accurately; maintain tools and jobsite conditions with responsibility.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and progress.</li><li>Participate in team discussions on sequencing, coordination, and project planning.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>5+ years of experience in modern residential carpentry including rough framing and finish work.</li><li>Hands-on experience with building envelope protection systems (e.g., WRBs, flashings, sill pans, waterproof membranes) and sequencing</li><li>Ability to interpret architectural and construction details related to waterproofing and drainage.</li><li>Working knowledge of local building codes, particularly as they relate to moisture control and exterior assemblies.</li><li>Skilled with carpentry tools, measuring and layout systems, and material handling.</li><li>Professional communication skills; clear and reliable reporting of progress and challenges.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and consistent, punctual presence on site.</li></ul>Key traits for success - the &ldquo;fit&rdquo;:<ul><li>Pride in workmanship and a commitment to getting details right.</li><li>Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolving field conditions.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a highly collaborative team.</li><li>Respect for the architectural intent, material integrity, and sequencing of the build.</li><li>Focus on cleanliness, organization, and safety on the jobsite.</li><li>Showing up on time and ready-to-work, everyday</li></ul>Work Location: In person
