Small manufacturing facility looking for an Admin to be responsible for processing all aspects of a business office, including payables, receivables, payroll, reconciliations, preparing for audits and taxes, and interacting with customers. This is not a remote position.We are looking for someone with strong organizational and administrative skills, the ability to multitask, and the ability to stay on track with multiple projects. This team member must be responsible, on time, and work the assigned hours. (M-F 7-3:30) in Elkmont Al.Responsibilities<ul><li>Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures</li><li>Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data</li><li>Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits</li><li>Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted</li><li>Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues</li><li>Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients</li><li>Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status</li><li>Journal entries in QBO</li><li>Process payroll</li><li>Prepare for YE taxes and insurance audits.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Must have 5+ years in QBO experience.</li><li>Proven working experience as accounts payable clerk (or accounts receivable clerk)</li><li>Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles</li><li>Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records</li><li>Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers</li><li>Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software</li><li>Proficiency in English and in MS Office</li><li>Customer service orientation and negotiation skills</li><li>High degree of accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>Must be able to pass background check and drug screen</li><li>Notary a plus</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>QuickBooks Desktop: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
