Job Summary 
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Oldcastle Building Products Retail team as a Business Analyst. This individual will be responsible for creating and managing enterprise-level analytics that deliver actionable insights. This includes execution of the full development lifecycle and requires a strong background in data, business analysis, and process improvement, along with excellent communication skills. We are seeking a detail-oriented person with strong analytical skills, as well as proficiency in Tableau and Excel, to evaluate and optimize supplier performance for Home Depot, Lowe&rsquo;s, and other key customers. The ideal candidate will leverage data analysis, visualization tools, and advanced Excel functions to generate insights, track key performance metrics, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance supplier relationships and operational efficiency. 
Job Location 
This is a hybrid position located at our Atlanta, GA corporate office. 
Job Responsibilities 
<ul><li>
Design, manage, and analyze Tableau dashboards to monitor key performance metrics, including sales, inventory, and production for all APG customers.</li><li>
Leverage advanced Excel functions to process and analyze large datasets efficiently.</li><li>
Detect trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities to enhance overall performance.</li><li>
Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize business efficiency.</li><li>
Partner with internal teams to ensure reporting requirements are met effectively.</li><li>
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across multiple systems and reporting platforms.</li><li>
Automate repetitive tasks using Tableau, Excel, or other analytical tools to improve efficiency.</li><li>
Collaborate with IT, BI, and field teams to enhance data accessibility and usability.</li><li>
Provide in-depth reports and forecasts to support management and key stakeholders.</li><li>
Conduct competitive analysis to drive informed business decisions.</li><li>
Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose process improvements for enhanced productivity.</li></ul> 
Job Requirements 
<ul><li>
5 + years of experience designing, building, and deploying BI/analytical solutions and reports.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent in business, computer science, engineering, math, or another technical field.</li><li>
Advanced data visualization tool knowledge (Tableau).</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office w/ Advanced Excel skills (VBA).</li><li>
Strong problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to travel domestically up to 10%.</li></ul>

The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for managing, analyzing, and collecting outstanding balances for major retail Home Center customer accounts for Oldcastle Lawn &amp; Garden. This role focuses on maintaining the financial integrity of customer accounts through accurate oversight, timely research, and resolution of open balances, while supporting strong customer and internal business relationships.

Customer &amp; Internal Partner Engagement<ul><li>
Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, sales teams, and internal partners.</li><li>
Communicate promptly and professionally with customers regarding account status, discrepancies, and collection matters.</li><li>
Collaborate with dispatchers and sales representatives to address customer requests and resolve issues.</li></ul>
Accounts Receivable Management<ul><li>
Research and resolve account discrepancies, short payments, and customer inquiries.</li><li>
Prepare customer refunds and account adjustment requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies.</li><li>
Monitor accounts to ensure adherence to corporate credit policies and consistent handling of collection activities.</li><li>
Analyze customer payment practices and provide recommendations on delinquent accounts.</li></ul>
Reporting &amp; Analysis<ul><li>
Prepare and maintain monthly reports on A/R aging, account health, and collection performance.</li><li>
Identify high‑risk or problem accounts and provide ongoing updates to the Controller.</li><li>
Run sales and A/R‑related reports from internal systems and compile data in spreadsheets for analysis and decision support.</li><li>
Review, research, and resolve items in the unapplied cash account.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with internal controls, including SOX‑related documentation and processes.</li></ul>

Job Requirements 
Education &amp; Experience<ul><li>
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field OR a minimum of 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience.</li><li>
Previous accounting experience with strong understanding of A/R principles and practices.</li></ul>
Technical Skills<ul><li>
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.</li><li>
Ability to calculate and interpret financial figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.</li><li>
Accurate data entry skills with experience using 10‑key tools.</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret documents including purchase orders, receiving documents, vendor statements, invoices, credit applications, and compliance documentation.</li></ul>
