 The Sourcing Manager is responsible for creation and execution of Oldcastle Infrastructure&rsquo;s end to end commodity sourcing strategy for assigned categories that align with strategic and operational procurement initiatives. The incumbent will identify cost reduction opportunities through negotiation or alternate sourcing, create competitive environments, and negotiate agreements which assure seamless material availability required to achieve organizational objectives while maintaining strategic relationships.
 
 
 
 
 
 As a key member of the Procurement team, the Sourcing Manager will work with operational and business leaders as well as CRH Category teams to support and implement clear and cohesive strategies, which will achieve year over year improvements in input cost, supplier quality, and organizational performance. The Sourcing Manager will execute on the group and corporate objectives within the Business Performance team including supporting the Centralized Procurement model.

 Collaborate and align with CRH Category teams to leverage national and global scale of procurement resources and initiatives. Provides monthly reporting on savings, cost avoidance, key initiatives, and projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze available procurement data to include: year-over-year spending trends, spend by business unit/division, spend by supplier, number of suppliers, price variance, and transactional volumes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead strategic sourcing activity for assigned category portfolio identifying opportunities for cost reductions or process enhancements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assess external market conditions and conduct analysis (e.g. should-cost model etc) to determine sourcing opportunities and risks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead supply partner negotiations establishing favorable pricing, terms and conditions while ensuring required organizational service levels are achieved.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as escalation point for Procurement team and Business for supply partner performance and quality issues. Own the supplier relationships and take actions to deliver value.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide supplier performance data and conduct business reviews with key suppliers. Includes supplier audits and qualification visits as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as market expert of assigned category portfolio and communicate updates in demand or cost.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with teams to implement strategic sourcing initiatives including Master Purchase Agreements (MPA), Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), Consignment, and other actions which improve cost structure.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in the adoption and implementation of corporate initiative.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure service levels are achieved and that continuous improvement efforts are implemented locally and nationally.
 </li>

 Job Requirements:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related degree or the equivalent in relevant experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 A chemicals background specifically in polymer polyolefin &amp; compound experience would be preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 4+ years experience preferred in the strategic sourcing / category management / purchasing field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience establishing business processes, managing performance, supplier relationship management, driving organizational change preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven record of procurement and cost management across goods and services and understanding of the entire procurement cycle.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong leadership skills with the ability to maintain a wide range of multi-site relationships at all levels of the organization and the ability to effectively define and manage change.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to get positive results through influence, persuasion, leadership, presentations, training, and group facilitation skills.
 </li>

The Plant Manager is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the facility, supporting the vision and values of the corporation. <ul><li>Operates Mixer Machine and Batch Plant (Command Alkon)</li><li>
Uses overhead crane to pour concrete</li><li>
Notify supervisor of non-conforming product or problems with machine, materials, etc.</li><li>
Communicate production issues with other employees and supervisors</li><li>
Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance assuring product meets quality requirements</li><li>
Perform routine machine maintenance</li><li>
Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed</li><li>
Understand and apply safe use and operation of the equipment and communicates with other employees about safety-related matters</li></ul> 

Required Skills
