Join Our Team as an HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic
Are you a skilled HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic looking to grow your career with a company that values quality, safety, and teamwork? We&rsquo;re looking for a motivated professional to join our team and play a key role in installing and building high-performing HVAC systems across a variety of projects.
What You&rsquo;ll Do 
In this hands-on role, you&rsquo;ll bring projects to life by installing, modifying, and repairing ductwork and sheet metal systems. You&rsquo;ll work from blueprints and specifications to ensure precise, code-compliant installations, while collaborating closely with team members and other trades on-site.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:<ul><li>
Reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specs</li><li>
Measuring, laying out, fabricating, and installing duct systems (TDF, snap lock, slide and drive, etc.)</li><li>
Cutting and shaping sheet metal</li><li>
Installing HVAC equipment such as air handling units, VAV boxes, and fan-powered boxes</li><li>
Coordinating with other trades to ensure seamless project execution</li><li>
Inspecting your work to meet industry and company standards and job requirements</li><li>
Loading/unloading materials and maintaining a clean, safe job site</li><li>
Using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment</li><li>
Applying shop math and problem-solving skills on the job</li></ul>

Requirements:

What You Bring
We&rsquo;re looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work:<ul><li>
Vocational/technical training or completion of an apprenticeship</li><li>
2+ years of related HVAC sheet metal experience preferred</li><li>
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation practices</li><li>
Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical documents</li><li>
Proficiency with hand and power tools</li><li>
Reliable transportation</li><li>
Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills</li><li>
Ability to perform basic math calculations</li><li>
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset</li><li>
Ability to work independently and help guide apprentices or helpers</li><li>
Commitment to safety with knowledge of OSHA standards</li><li>
Positive attitude and strong work ethic</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
This is an active, hands-on role requiring the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform tasks that involve bending, reaching, standing, kneeling, and working on your feet for extended periods</li></ul>
Work Environment:<ul><li>
Work will generally begin at the customer&rsquo;s job site; job locations will vary based on project needs and may span a wide geographic area</li><li>
Ability to work in all weather conditions &amp; temperatures</li></ul>
