 JOB PURPOSE:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 To develop and implement a range of Human resource and enterprise service products/solutions to enhance
 
 
 operational efficiency and improve end user experience whilst ensuring these are in line with Oman Air&rsquo;s digital strategy
 
 
 and comply with all relevant laws, regulatory requirements and industry best practices
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &bull; Work closely with end user departments to understand current/future business needs and translate this into detailed technical specifications and communicate requirements to development teams/vendors
 
 
 &bull; Lead the development and implementation of Human resource and enterprise service digital solutions ensuring that these are in accordance with the digital&rsquo;s governance, quality and standards
 
 
 &bull; Work with end user departments to identify opportunities for deploying technology solutions to drive value and efficiency across the relevant business areas
 
 
 &bull; Define objectives, KPIs, and targets for Oman Air&rsquo;s Human resource and enterprise service digital
 
 
 products/solutions with constant monitoring and analysis of data to drive ongoing improvements
 
 
 &bull; Manage stakeholder relationships effectively, including vendors, end users, and development teams by facilitating
 
 
 communication and building consensus across various stakeholders to drive product initiatives
 
 
 &bull; Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle from requirements identification to testing, implementation and handover, ensuring these are delivered on time and to budget
 
 
 &bull; Track, monitor and report on the status of all product development projects and address any issues/delays in a
 
 
 timely manner to prevent impact on the expected delivery date and allocated budgets
 
 
 &bull; Review the efficiency and effectiveness of existing Human resource and enterprise service products and technologies, and make recommendations to enhance these, where possible, while working closely with the relevant stakeholders/teams
 
 
 &bull; Evaluate proposed products/technologies by assessing their viability with Oman Air&rsquo;s strategic goals, considering
 
 
 factors such as budget, timelines, and resource requirements
 
 
 &bull; Collate and analyse data from diverse sources to accurately estimate the costs for digital product developments
 
 
 &bull; Develop and implement robust performance monitoring processes for existing products, development tools, modelling and implementations through benchmarking and monitoring tools
 
 
 &bull; Develop end user manuals/guides and deliver end user training to support the rollout of new digital products
 
 
 &bull; Ensure the optimal functioning and maintenance of Human resource and enterprise service digital products,
 
 
 proactively overseeing updates to meet evolving operational demands
 
 
 &bull; Keep abreast of Human resource and enterprise service digital products, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, and make recommendations for enhancement in line with industry developments
 
 
 &bull; Ensure adherence to product quality assurance standards and the relevant design principles/architecture during all implementations
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &bull; Ensure that all products are designed and developed in a resilient and scalable manner that allows enhancements/improvements, when needed, without jeopardizing conformance and compliance requirements/controls
 
 
 &bull; Assess compatibility and feasibility of implementation and integration for new products or upgrades/adjustments for existing products and take informed decisions, based on findings
 
 
 &bull; Develop and document product design/development reference and PRDs for enhancements and future use
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &bull; Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 8 years of experience
 
 
 Or
 
 
 &bull; Diploma Holders with 10 years of relevant experience
 
 
 
 
 
 
 PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, CERTIFICATION OR MEMBERSHIPs:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &bull; Proficient in English (verbal and written)
 
 
 &bull; Proficient in MS office
 
 
 &bull; CSPO, PSPO, CPM, POPM or PMP certification is preferred
 
 
 &bull; Proven knowledge and expertise in relevant software, technologies, and business models
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &bull; 3 years of experience as product manager or similar role in product management, in the Human resource and ERP domain
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 SKILLS &amp; COMPETENCIES:

 &bull; Experience with HCM and ERP systems, processes, and standards, such as
 
 
 payroll, benefits, talent management, performance management, etc
 
 
 &bull; Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to
 
 
 use data and user feedback to guide product decisions
 
 
 &bull; Experience with agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Technical Competences:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &bull; Strong knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft
 
 
 &bull; Familiarity with SQL, BI tools, and data warehousing concepts

Product Manager – People and Services (Digital & IT Dept.)

 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Develop, control, and continuously review the Aircraft Maintenance Schedule (AMS) for each aircraft
 
 
 type operated.
 
 
 &bull; Incorporate manufacturer recommendations, regulatory requirements (e.g. CAA Oman, EASA, FAA), and
 
 
 operational experience into the AMS.
 
 
 &bull; Coordinate with the CAA Oman for AMS approval and revisions.
 
 
 &bull; Manage the escalation/de-escalation process in accordance with reliability data and procedures.
 
 
 &bull; Ensure the evaluated Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and other OEM data by
 
 
 Development Engineering trades are included in the AMS updates.
 
 
 &bull; Develop and manage the reliability monitoring program in accordance with regulatory standards and
 
 
 company procedures.
 
 
 &bull; Monitor fleet reliability trends including delays, defects, removal rates, and unscheduled events.
 
 
 &bull; Ensure reliability reports are prepared on timely manner as required by the authority of management.
 
 
 &bull; Conduct and lead quarterly reliability review meetings with stakeholders (Maintenance, Engineering,
 
 
 Quality, flight Operations and Local Regulatory).
 
 
 &bull; Recommend corrective actions or AMS revisions based on reliability data analysis.
 
 
 &bull; Ensure reliability data is correctly collected, analysed, and reported using appropriate software and KPIs.
 
 
 &bull; Develop, manage, and revise MEL documents in line with the Master MEL (MMEL), DDG, regulatory
 
 
 guidance, and operational needs.
 
 
 &bull; Review and verify proposed MEL amendments for completeness and revisions are as agreed during the
 
 
 MEL Committee Meeting prior to submission to national authority for approval.
 
 
 &bull; Coordinate MEL approval process with the local regulatory authority.
 
 
 &bull; Support operational departments with MEL interpretation and dispatch issues.
 
 
 &bull; Amend the company documentation such as CAME, EPMs, and related manuals whenever necessary.
 
 
 &bull; Ensure compliance with EASA/FAA/CAA Oman/IOSA and other applicable airworthiness regulations.
 
 
 &bull; Maintain documentation and records required for audits by regulatory authorities, IOSA, lessors, and
 
 
 internal QA.
 
 
 &bull; Support audits, inspections, investigations and implement corrective actions where necessary.
 
 
 &bull; Lead and mentor a team of engineers within the Maintenance Program, MEL, and Reliability functions.
 
 
 &bull; Interface with Maintenance Planning, Quality Assurance, Development Engineering, and Maintenance
 
 
 departments to ensure alignment.
 
 
 &bull; Liaise with OEMs and external service providers (e.g., reliability data processors, MEL service partners).
 
 
 &bull; Efficiently and effectively plan, organize, co-ordinate and control resources allocated to the section to
 
 
 achieve high quality technical standards acceptable to the Company and Regulatory Authority.
 
 
 &bull; Contribute to the yearly budget preparation for the department.
 
 
 &bull; Ensure that the training requirements are for the staff are fulfilled as per the regulatory.
 
 
 &bull; Carry out any other task as and when directed by FH-DE.
 
 
 &bull; Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the Management.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Minimum Qualification &amp; Experience:
 
 
 
 
 &bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in any Engineering field with 8 years of experience preferable in Development
 
 
 Engineering.
 
 
 &bull; OR ICAO Type II license with minimum of 10 years of relevant experience preferable in Development
 
 
 Engineering.
 
 
 &bull; Minimum 3 years in Supervisory experience is mandatory.
 
 
 &bull; For Non-Omani: Relevant experience should be in Aircraft Maintenance Program, Reliability Program and
 
 
 MEL Publication.
