 The assist keeping bank&rsquo;s LAN/WAN Infrastructure and online platforms up, running, and secure as per the guidelines and timelines set by the bank.

 Key Deliverables
 
 :
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Maintain the networks infrastructure for the bank services as per the guidelines and timelines set by the bank.
 </li>
 <li>
 Configure networks to support the level of security required within the agreed SLAs
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for administering and managing Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Proxy servers, Load Balancers (LB), and Network Firewalls, including configuration, policy enforcement, performance tuning, and ongoing maintenance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaise with all departments and branches in networks related installation, maintenance, and security.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist line manager in the preparation and maintenance of section&rsquo;s related documentations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee the operational technical development of the section as well as getting involved in the development of section&rsquo;s policies, processes, and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work along with Infrastructure, Architecture, and delivery teams to ensure networks are fully functional and secure.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in improving the operational technical standard and competencies with the team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide a call support to the networks and 24/7 teams as and when required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist and support the implementation of all service management processes including, Change Processes, Service Level Agreement and to ensure all are according to bank&rsquo;s strategic objectives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to the best practices, especially in Capacity management, Resiliency, Networks patching and upgrading.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all activities are carries out based on bank&rsquo;s policies, processes, and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in Networks related initiatives and projects as assigned or other duties as assigned by line manager.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensue all related activities are in accordance with bank&rsquo;s policies, procedures, and standards.
 </li>

Senior Specialist - Infrastructure

 Key Deliverables
 
 :
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Responsible for managing all the MS SQL and Oracle databases currently being used in the bank including periodic maintenance of the data stored.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform routine health check of the servers to ensure zero downtime.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist to run script(s) provided by requesting departments for the database and ensure that after the proper running of the shared scripts, the results of the script are shared with them and the Management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform continuous monitoring of the databases and troubleshoot issues related to the database administration whenever required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Based on requests and approvals received from the Management, grant/ revoke access to users with regards to access to the database.
 </li>
 <li>
 Regularly perform a check of the memory of the workstations and disk space allocated to database management for effective usage and ensure disk pace/ memory is not high.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all the checks for alerts in the system are resolved in a timely manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the security of the database by necessarily masking the sensitive data and performing TDE(Transferring Data Encryption) for securing the whole database.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all activities are carried out, as per bank&rsquo;s policies, processes, and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in other tasks as assigned or other duties as assigned by the Management.
 </li>
