Position-Home Health Aide(HHA) Location-Worcester, MA Pay Rate -19/hr Job descriptionJob Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while maintaining a clean and safe environment. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and caregiving practices, as well as adherence to HIPAA regulations.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.</li><li>Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.</li><li>Provide catheter care and support with mobility to ensure client safety.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical documentation regarding client care and progress.</li><li>Ensure the living environment is clean, organized, and conducive to the health of the client.</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans and needs.</li><li>Follow all safety protocols and HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, particularly in a nursing home setting.</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication and documentation.</li><li>Familiarity with medication administration processes and best practices.</li><li>Strong understanding of HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality in all interactions.</li><li>Ability to perform basic cleaning tasks to maintain a safe environment for clients.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.</li><li>Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Per diemPay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Home health: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driver's License (Required)</li><li>Home Care Aide Certification (Required)</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>100% (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: On the road
