 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Promote a safe work environment by enforcing company safety protocols, including dock, conveyor, and lockout/tagout procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Train and guide Package Handlers, providing hands-on demonstrations and ongoing performance feedback.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee package handling, sorting, and inspection processes to ensure accuracy, prevent damage, and avoid misroutes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor equipment functionality, submit maintenance requests, and manage damaged freight according to company procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Check in/out third-party drivers, verify credentials, and ensure proper documentation and manifest accuracy.
 </li>

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 1 year of industry experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be at least 18 years of age.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Required Skills
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Regularly lift, push, pull 25 - 35 lbs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Occasionally carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally push or pull up to 150 lbs. using a pallet jack or gaylords to transport large packages.
 </li>

Warehouse Lead

OnTrac is hiring a Warehouse Yard Coordinator / Dispatcher !
 
Our Yard Coordinators / Dispatchers play a critical role in the coordination and tracking of the movement of trailers in and out of the yard facility and oversee all movement in the warehouse yard. Yard Coordinators also work with incoming drivers and vendors to ensure smooth traffic flow in and out of the facility.

Pay Target: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience

Warehouse Dispatch Yard Coordinator

 As an Area Manager for OnTrac, you will report directly to the Operations Manager of the facility and be responsible for managing all the sort activities and volume within an assigned area. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance business outcomes within the operation.

 Pay: $50,300 - $88,000 annually, depending on experience

The Must-Haves:

<li>GED/Diploma required, college degree in related discipline preferred</li>
<li>A minimum of 2 years of industry experience – (ex. logistics, shipping, 3PL) with at least 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience</li>
<li>Ability to effectively evaluate and summarize data and present answers to questions</li>
<li>Intermediate to advanced Microsoft office and mathematical skills</li>
<li>Effective communication skills including the ability to give honest, constructive feedback</li>
<li>Experience with hiring, training, motivating, disciplining, and completing performance evaluations for employees</li>
</ul>
Your Mission in Motion: 
<ul>
<li>Manage, staff and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers in an assigned area in the facility to ensure quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.</li>
<li>Monitor employee progress, provide ongoing feedback, identify areas for improvement, and address performance/attendance.</li>
<li>Conduct pre-sort meetings, keeping employees informed of daily goals, upcoming events, and safety priorities. Maintain an open line of communication to engage employees.</li>
<li>Record departure and arrival time of designated line-hauls. Accurately record trailer percentages throughout sort span and record final percentages on outbound paperwork.</li>
<li>Manage the flow of volume from Inbound to Outbound for on-time linehaul departures.</li>
<li>Execute various administrative duties, including but not limited to, safety training, operational audits, and end of shift reporting.</li>
