Job Title: Meck Pre-K Lead Teacher Location: Mecklenburg County, North Carolina Job Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryMeck Pre-K is seeking passionate and qualified Lead Teachers to join our high-quality Pre-K program serving 4-year-olds in Mecklenburg County, NC. Our mission is to ensure every child is kindergarten-ready through developmentally appropriate, engaging instruction in a nurturing environment.As a Meck Pre-K Lead Teacher, you will provide a structured, caring, and inclusive classroom that supports children&rsquo;s development across all domains: cognitive, physical, social-emotional, and language.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with NC Foundations for Early Learning and Development</li><li>Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment</li><li>Conduct ongoing assessment of student progress and adjust instruction accordingly</li><li>Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues</li><li>Maintain accurate classroom records including attendance, assessments, and portfolios</li><li>Participate in ongoing professional development and coaching</li><li>Collaborate with teacher assistants, support staff, and administrators to ensure a high-quality program</li></ul>QualificationsRequired:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Birth-Kindergarten, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field</li><li>NC BK (Birth-Kindergarten) or B-K add-on licensure (or be eligible to obtain it)</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Experience working in a Pre-K or early childhood setting</li><li>Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and GOLD assessment</li><li>Strong classroom management and communication skills</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
