 Administrative Specialist Key Responsibilities

 Establish/maintain physical and electronic files
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide organization and management of case files in physical and electronic formats
 </li>
 <li>
 Review data (completeness of information, proper execution)
 </li>
 <li>
 Review, enter, and extract data from database
 </li>
 <li>
 Obtain additional information from other investigative agencies and databases
 </li>
 <li>
 Receive, suspense petitions, claims, and process requests
 </li>
 <li>
 Reconcile inconsistencies
 </li>
 <li>
 Gather information and organize investigative packages
 </li>
 <li>
 Verify case files and case tracking systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct and reconcile reports
 </li>
 <li>
 Receive and distribute various types of documents, including court documents
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist lead analyst or official in obtaining/collecting all documents/information to complete case file
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide administrative information and assistance concerning cases to other investigative agencies, local law enforcement agencies, U.S. Attorney, other DOJ processing units, and higher headquarters
 </li>

 Extract data from agency database for management and program reports
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform word processing relevant to case documentation
 </li>

 Perform data entry relevant to case

 Ability to manipulate, transfer, compute, and print information

Administrative Specialist

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager I to oversee major construction programs and multiple projects for the Department of State in Washington, DC. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The Construction Project Manager I will serve as the central point of coordination among contractors, government stakeholders, and local authorities, driving project success from planning through close-out. 
 
Key responsibilities include:<ul><li>
Manage major construction programs or multiple projects, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, safety regulations, and building codes.</li><li>
Maintain ongoing communication with Department of State stakeholders to address schedule, cost, quality, and performance issues.</li><li>
Review and verify construction drawings, plans, and specifications; recommend corrective actions as needed.</li><li>
Maintain and update project schedules, including government activities, and monitor progress to identify and resolve delays.</li><li>
Prepare independent cost estimates and oversee construction work for quality and compliance.</li><li>
Serve as liaison among contractors, DOS stakeholders, local authorities, and other parties to facilitate project coordination.</li><li>
Coordinate with Facilities Management to minimize impacts on other facilities and tenants.</li><li>
Conduct daily site inspections, document project progress, and report issues promptly.</li><li>
Work closely with on-site Diplomatic Security to facilitate contractor access and ensure safety protocols are followed.</li></ul> 

Requirements 
 
Required Qualifications:<ul><li>
3+ years of specialized experience within the last 10 years managing major vertical construction projects such as multi-story buildings, large residential or commercial developments, or warehouses</li><li>
Experience reviewing and verifying construction drawings, plans, and specifications for compliance and recommending corrective actions</li><li>
Experience developing and maintaining construction project schedules, monitoring progress, identifying delay causes, and implementing corrective actions</li><li>
Experience managing construction project finances, including cost monitoring, budgeting, forecasting total costs, and certifying payment requests</li><li>
Experience analyzing and negotiating change orders, claims, and cost/time settlements</li><li>
Proficiency using computer software for construction project management and fiscal control</li><li>
Knowledge of construction QA/QC practices, including test procedures and test equipment</li><li>
Knowledge of construction safety practices</li><li>
Active Secret security clearance</li><li>
Experience serving as a liaison with government stakeholders and construction contractors on project schedule, cost, quality, and performance issues</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
PMP certification by start date or within 12 months of start date (and maintained)</li></ul>
