<b>This person will be highly involved in the plastic fusion equipment maintenance at ONE Gas. This role will require a heavy amount of travel throughout the year. When not traveling, it will be fully in-office and open to the following locations at primary offices: Manhattan, Topeka, Kansas City, Salina, Wichita, or Emporia. <b>What You Will Do</b><br>
<br>
Perform enterprise-wide training activities related to classroom, hands on, simulation, performance evaluations, and on the job training events.<br>
Coordinate, deliver, and facilitate training programs in specified field operations disciplines.<br>
Provide training events that build student knowledge and skill with a primary focus on natural gas, operations, and maintenance activities to support the Operational Qualification (OQ) performance evaluation process.<br>
Independently observe and complete performance evaluations to accurately collect, analyze, and report metrics to enhance the student's level of skill proficiency and success of training programs.<br>
Provide training events that build student knowledge and skill with a primary focus on natural gas, operations, and maintenance activities.<br>
Integrate classroom, hands on, simulation, and on the job training events that maximize student learning.<br>
Implement creative learning initiatives that provide practical field experience. Identify, evaluate, and react to learning opportunities while developing employees towards mastery level of their position. Recertify employees in plastic fusion, operations, and maintenance where needed.<br>
Provide mentorship and support services as requested to field operations.<br>
Collaborate with operations management to identify training needs and deliver training programs to ensure regulatory compliance and safety protocols.<br>
Collaborate with Instructional Designer on curriculum development and improvements to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and ONE Gas standards as needed.<br>
Participate with ONE Gas standard reviews and identify needs within organizational groups as needed.<br>
Promote a safe work environment by actively participating in all aspects of employee safety programs and support the interdependent safety culture by ensuring the safety of co-workers.<br>
Contribute and participate in governance meetings. Use information gathered from feedback sessions, online surveys, and previous training sessions to recommend updates to future training materials.<br>
Manage student's engagement during training sessions along with communicating student's engagement to leadership.<br>
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.<br>
Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.<br>

<b>What You Will Need</b><br>
<br>
Preferred Associate's Degree Business or related field.<br>
Previous field operations experience required with experience in technical training preferred.<br>
Experience in Field Operations and preferred Technical Training experience.<br>
Knowledge of equipment, props, and simulations utilized to complete employee training and recertification.<br>
Working knowledge of pipeline/field and/or customer service/field activities.<br>
Knowledge related to company training programs and processes.<br>
Experience in use and function of equipment/tools used in construction, maintenance, and/or service of distribution and transmission pipelines.<br>
Experience with the application of basic mathematical formulas.<br>
Experience related to:</p><br>

Computer applications including spreadsheet and word processing software</li><li>
Company policies/procedures and governmental regulations pertaining to field activities</li><li>
Field and fire safety training</li><li>
Plastic fusion</li><li>
Interpersonal/communication skills</li><li>

Ability to read and interpret reports, governmental regulations, training materials, safety manuals, field procedural manuals, equipment specifications, policies, procedures, and correspondence.<br>
Ability to develop information and make presentations.<br>
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.<br>
Minimum Applicable driver's license. Required to operate a company vehicle.<br>
Preferred Commercial Driver's License (CDL)<br>

Lift and move objects weighing 30 to 60 lbs. occasionally.<br>

Role Summary: </b>The Business Systems Analyst II supports the delivery of high-quality data products that enable analytics and reporting across multiple business domains, with a primary focus on Accounting and Finance. This role bridges business needs and technical execution by gathering requirements, facilitating data product design, documenting features, and validating data products throughout their lifecycle. The Business Systems Analyst II collaborates closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to ensure data products align with business objectives, maintain integrity, and comply with governance standards.</p><p>
In addition to defining and documenting requirements, this role is responsible for conducting quality assurance (QA) and leading user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and usability. Ideal candidates will bring strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions. While not required, familiarity with concepts such as star schema dimensional modeling and Agile methodologies is highly desirable.</p><p><b>
What You Will Do</b></p><p>
Perform all aspects of work related to documenting business needs, data product documentation, tracking and resolving user issues, testing, and training for data and analytic solutions applicable to business unit supported.</p><p>
Leads efforts to define, document, and maintain data product specifications including business processes, functional requirements, and functional designs.</p><p>
Troubleshoots moderate to complex production support tickets and end-user questions that may require collaboration with multiple business or technical teams to identify root causes and appropriate solutions.</p><p>
Invests time with business to continually develop an intermediate level of business knowledge of the business unit(s) supported.</p><p>
Leads small to medium reviews of business requests for data product enhancements and collaborates with business requestor to understand the business value and use case of requested enhancement.</p><p>
Develops and maintains end-user training materials and data dictionaries. Deliver simple training instruction to end-users.</p><p>
Designs testing procedures to confirm delivered features meet requirements.</p><p>
Documents and executes moderate to complex software data &amp; analytics test cases.</p><p>
Support the planning and execution of software testing. Prepares and facilitates UAT of data products.</p><p>
Introduces enhancements for supported data &amp; analytics solutions that would create value for the organization.</p><p>
Creates and maintains simple to moderately-complex data queries and reports to provide data analysis tools to system users and stakeholders.</p><p>
Performs business analysis tasks as a member of a project team.</p><p>

What You Will Need</b></p><p>
Preferred Bachelor's Degree accounting, finance, business administration, computer science, MIS, or other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience:</p><p>
Experience and/or training related to Enterprise applications.</p><p>
Configure applicable systems software.</p><p>
Experience relative to:</p><ul><li>

Identify, research, and analyze systems software problems, and perform systems evaluation.</p><p>

Demonstrated ability to interact, advise, guide, train, and communicate effectively.</p><p>
