Snapshot of Daily Duties<ul><li>
Administer medications in accordance with physician&rsquo;s orders.</li><li>
Maintain accurate and complete records, documenting all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient response.</li><li>
Assist the physician with management of office visits.</li><li>
Provide patient education and instruction.</li><li>
Communicate with patients as applicable.</li><li>
Maintain patient centered data in a neat and organized manner including chart entries, documentation, or communications to be sent externally.</li><li>
Comply with adverse event reporting and patient privacy policies.</li><li>
Give intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as ordered. Perform phlebotomy as needed, or as prescribed/ordered.</li><li>
SCHEDULE: 10 hour shifts 7:00 AM start time 5:00 PM end time.
</li></ul>The Must Haves<ul><li>
Registered nurse. Membership in local, state, and national societies is encouraged.</li><li>
ACLS is required. As well as continuing certification with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).</li><li>
Solid nursing background, concentration, or willingness to obtain advanced knowledge in GI specialty.</li><li>
Priority setting, application of judgment, communication skill and tact.</li></ul>
