Position Overview:

As a LPN or MA, you will need to be patient focused, organized, and comfortable working with patients and families while assisting both clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provides clinical support to providers by preparing patients for medical examinations and documenting key information into EHR system.</li>
<li>Assist providers during examination and procedures.</li>
<li>Perform clinical tasks such as administering medications, immunizations, diagnostic testing, and assisting with treatments under provider supervision.</li>
<li>Execute essential skills, including blood pressure readings, EKGs, lab test, vision test and specimen collection.</li>
<li>Ensure timely patient care by rooming patients promptly and monitoring wait times.</li>
<li>Prepare and clean exam rooms.</li>
<li>Maintain and sterilize equipment, monitor tracking systems and adhere to OSHA and infection control policies.</li>
<li>Schedule referrals, manage phone messages, and coordinate prescription calls under provider guidance.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned, up to and including travel to other locations, that may be required.</li>
</ul>
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
<ul>
<li>Active LPN licensure or medical assistant school diploma/certification.</li>
<li>Minimum of 1 year clinical experience</li>
<li>BLS CPR Certification</li>
</ul>

Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Sitting in a normal seated position.</li>
<li>Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.</li>
<li>Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard.</li>
<li>Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying.</li>
<li>Communication skills using the spoken word.</li>
<li>Ability to see within normal parameters.</li>
<li>Ability to hear within normal range.</li>
<li>Ability to frequently move about.</li>
