Standard Hall is a high-volume, promotion-driven bar located in the Short North. While we cater to a younger college crowd, our expansive patio also attracts different demographic, especially in warm weather. We're open Thursday through Sunday and thrive on creative marketing and weekend promotions.</p><p>
We&rsquo;re looking for a Bar Manager who isn&rsquo;t just a great operator but is also a visionary&mdash;someone who thrives in a fast-paced, social environment, drives energy and revenue through events and activations, and keeps the team and guests engaged.</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Responsibilities:</b></h3><ul><li>
Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining service standards, responding to feedback, and resolving issues swiftly.</li><li>
Strong understanding of day-to-day bar operations, cost control, and inventory management</li><li>
Ability to lead FOH and BOH teams with a hands-on approach, including hiring, scheduling, training, and motivating staff.</li><li>
Proven experience creating and executing successful bar promotions, themed nights, and social media campaigns that drive traffic.</li><li>
Constantly bringing fresh ideas for events, seasonal activations, drink features, and ways to engage both college and older crowds.</li><li>
Consistently delivers high-level service and atmosphere while reading the room and adapting to the crowd&rsquo;s needs.</li><li>
Comfortable working nights and weekends. Open to changing trends and pivoting quickly when needed.</li><li>
Knows how to build a regular crowd, support community events, and collaborate with student groups, organizations, and local businesses.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications:</b></h3><ul><li>
2+ Years in the hospitality management</li><li>
Strong leadership and communication skills</li><li>
Ability to work nights, weekend and holidays</li><li>
Toast POS system knowledge</li><li>
