This role oversees the entire procurement process of marine-related products and services, for a seamless supply chain, ensuring high standards of quality and establishing strategies to optimize cost, supply security and service in the short and long term.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on factors like price, quality, reliability, environmental impact, ethical sourcing, and social responsibility</li></ul><ul><li>Negotiate and execute contracts of various supplies (provisions stores etc..) based on order requirements &bull; Negotiate terms of purchase, from price to quantities needed, delivery timelines and logistics to payment terms</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor supplier performance</li></ul><ul><li>Investigate and implement approved cost reduction opportunities. These initiatives would include consolidation of suppliers and competitive quotations for alternate suppliers and many more</li></ul><ul><li>Responsible of overall contract management compliance process</li></ul><ul><li>Responsible for Supply Pricing Lists and Vendor Pricing records in the database</li></ul><ul><li>Determine potential clients for company profit/growth, review requisitions/ purchase orders and related documents for completeness, accuracy and compliance with department procedures and requirements</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor freight in costs and identify opportunities for cost reductions, along with timely communication of changes in prices</li></ul><ul><li>Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging suppliers to ensure competitive and innovative procurement solutions</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet order deadlines, by coordinating with other departments</li></ul><ul><li>Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs</li></ul><ul><li>Perform other tasks or jobs as need or required</li></ul>Candidate Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or master&rsquo;s degree in business, marketing, or a similar field from a well-known university</li></ul><ul><li>2-3 years of experience in export house purchasing in B2B structure</li></ul><ul><li>Proven track record of developing and executing profitable contracts for company</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of market research, vendor recruiting &amp; data analysis</li></ul><ul><li>Strong knowledge of supply chain management</li></ul><ul><li>Adaptability and excellent time management skills</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to handle multiple contracts with strong management skills</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work autonomously and with little direction in a high volume, fast paced environment.</li></ul>Location &amp; Working hrs:<ul><li>Permanent full-time role at our Gurgaon office</li></ul><ul><li>Monday- Saturday (Alternate Saturdays off)</li></ul><ul><li>10am-6pm (needs to be available even after working hrs as per urgency)</li></ul>NOTE: DO NOT APPLY for the role if you are not having relevant working experience.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;25,000.00 - &#8377;35,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Cell phone reimbursement</li><li>Internet reimbursement</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Procurement: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
