 Senior Software Engineer
 
 &nbsp;with significant end-to-end ownership of project/product areas.

 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Design and implement cloud-based solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).&nbsp;
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Interact with product users/QA team members to collect feedback about new features, software bugs and improvements.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Define, break down, and refine user stories based on customer needs. Proactively flag missing requirements or unclear value propositions.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Improve alerts, logs, and monitoring for features you build. Handle some of the on-call responsibilities.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Analyze and resolve application problems.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Actively participate in architectural conversations.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Set examples for best engineering practices.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide mentorship to more junior engineers.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participate in code reviews.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Required Skills:
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;6+ years of software design and development experience with a minimum&nbsp;B.Sc. degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate concepts to diverse audiences.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Senior-level expertise in one or more programing languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or Python.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;At least 3 years of object-oriented programming experience.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Proven track record applying advanced design patterns to solve complex engineering problems.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong background in distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies and AWS CDK.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Fluency in relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL or MySQL).
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience with DynamoDB or other NoSQL stores.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Proficient in designing and implementing unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Front-end development experience (especially React) is a strong plus.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The ability to work with minimal guidance, be proactive and to handle uncertainty and ambiguity.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent engineering mindset and proactive approach to problem solving.
