What you&rsquo;ll do:</b></h3><ul><li><p><b>
Teach Studio Classes: </b>Teach weekly art classes from 3pm to 7pm during the week and during the day on Saturdays for a variety of ages (K-12)</p></li><li><div><b>
Ensure Student Success:</b> Ensure student success in the studio by actively engaging with students and teachers to observe, document and communicate their progress and opportunities for growth</div></li><li><div><b>
Provide Hospitality Service &amp; Communication:</b> Conduct proactive check-ins with parents, students and families, support makeup scheduling, discuss student progress and opportunities for growth, upsells to additional classes / camps.</div></li><li><div><b>
Implement One River Methodology Curriculum:</b> Review lesson plans/resources on time and implement the One River Method through each class effectively and contribute to lesson plan development regularly</div></li><li><div><b>
Run a best-in-class studio:</b> Maintain the art studio. Clean and organize studio spaces and student artwork and keep track of art supply inventory</div></li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Requirements:</b></h2><ul><li><p>
BA/BS in Visual Art, Art Education or Design (Master&rsquo;s a plus) <b>or</b> equivalent professional experience</p></li><li><div>
3+ years experience teaching visual arts for K&ndash;12 and/or adults.</div></li><li><div>
Track record of high-quality instruction, classroom management, and student progress.</div></li><li><div>
Clear communicator, organized, and energized by a busy studio environment</div></li><li><p>
Passion for art history, contemporary art and a &ldquo;students-first&rdquo; mindset</p></li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Schedule &amp; Compensation:</b></h2><ul><li><p>
This is a Part time position with afternoon, evening and Saturday teaching hours</p></li><li><p>
