Job Summary:One Safe Place is seeking a full-time Training Coordinator to lead specialized law enforcement training initiatives under the Hidden Homicides: A Collaborative Response to Domestic Violence project funded under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Justice and Training Program. The Coordinator will design, implement, and deliver evidence-based training programs for law enforcement, prosecutors, and other crime prevention professionals, focusing on domestic violence dynamics, high-risk factors, and staged suicides. This role also includes coordinating a multi-disciplinary team and developing protocols for case reviews to strengthen investigative practices and enhance victim safety.Job Title: Hidden Homicide - Training CoordinatorQualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Education, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited university (required).</li><li>Minimum of three years&rsquo; experience working with crime victims or in law enforcement.</li><li>Experience in training development and delivery preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of domestic violence dynamics, investigative protocols, and forensic indicators.</li><li>Availability to work occasional nights and weekends as needed.</li><li>Reliable transportation and flexibility to work in various environments, both on and off-site.</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop curriculum covering crime scene indicators, victimology, offender behavior, and multi-disciplinary collaboration.</li><li>Coordinate and conduct regional training sessions for homicide detectives, crime scene investigators, and first responders.</li><li>Work closely with law enforcement agencies, forensic professionals, prosecutors, and victim service providers to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach.</li><li>Track training outcomes through assessments, maintain program documentation, and contribute to reporting for grant compliance.</li><li>Support public awareness initiatives related to domestic violence homicide prevention.</li><li>Travel within Tarrant County to conduct training for law enforcement jurisdictions</li><li>Reporting and Evaluation: Track participation, maintain program documentation, and contribute to reporting for grant compliance and program evaluation.</li></ul>Job Type:Full-time.
